This is going to be one of those games that I have to watch, but I don't want to watch, but I'm going to watch, but no really I don't want to watch. But I will.

That's my wife whenever KU has a close game. She prefers they have double the points.

I don't normally complain about NCAA referees, but the calls in the last 5-10 minutes are mystifying.

I freely admit I don't get charging/blocking calls. I'm starting to think I also don't understand fouls. Or traveling.

Thanks to A&M, my wife is still freaked out with a 14 point lead with 43 seconds to go.

Now you guys can relax.

Oregon looking good too.

Mostly boring games tonight. Disappointed with Miami but otherwise, as expected.

I think my wife was bothered most by the fact that they counted Mason's layup at the end.

Okay. Pulse rate...lowering...

Pathetic how much the announcers made excuses for every sh*tty thing Greyson Allen did tonight. Kid is a dirty player with an attitude problem. Just accept it.

And good riddance.

This is off to a bad start.

Sounds like Hilton East in there.

Starting to look like some of the Hilton Magic is in there, too.

Edit- But four fouls on Niang. Ugh.

That was a terrible call for the 4th. Yeah he fouled him on the drive, but the block was clean. And they called it a shooting foul. Can't be.

Either call it on the floor or don't call anything.

Assuming UNC doesn't blow this 16 point lead, looks like an all ACC side of the Elite 8. Guaranteed half the Final Four.

There were some questionable calls tonight and ISU flat out got beat, but I'm mostly sad that will be the last time I get to watch Niang play for ISU. He really was a shot in the arm to our program and lifted us out of a decade of bad basketball. Considering today's culture of one and dones and transfers it was nice to get to watch a kid grow for 4 years. He gave it his all tonight and has nothing to be ashamed of.
Thanks for the memories!

Well that was a hell of a thing. If Oklahoma shoots like that, tough to beat.

Surely 'Nova can't play as good as they did Thur. Feels like Kansas has the crowd too.

Bleah. Kansas looks atrocious.

Counting on Self to rein this in. Villanova is causing havoc.

Ellis is my favorite player of this tourney. I love the way he constantly sets picks. That was me when I played. Constantly trying to be useful in any way possible. Off-ball screen, on-ball screens, rebounds.

Must have been a good halftime speech.

Sorry Kansas guys. That last foul on Graham was an absolute joke. Feel like you got robbed.

Great game though.

Sad that so many great games seem to come down to a whistle.

Felt like there were a lot of really questionable calls all tournament. However, there were enough dumb Kansas turnovers and bad plays throughout the game, that last foul on Graham shouldn't have mattered. Down three with a chance to tie and Mason coughs up another turnover? Every so often teams just have an off night, and tonight was KU's turn.

Soooo....let's go Blues!!!

I think it would be really poor sportsmanship to cry about the calls in this game. Villanova had a great game plan and executed it really well. They outplayed Kansas, and the Jayhawks were lucky it was a close as it was.

Bad calls happen, and they go both ways. It's part of sports. The Jayhawks had opportunities to win this game, and they failed to execute.

I was pretty bummed last night. I was in KC at my mother-in-law's, as she just got out of the hospital. My wife was staying with her, but because of the lack of room, I stayed at my folks. On the way home I stopped at a theater and caught the 11:15 showing of BvS, just to stop thinking about the game. I guess that was better than several shots of bourbon.

I think I'm ready for playoff hockey now. LGB, indeed!

We're all out now right? Where's the 2017 thread?

Pretty sure there's a couple UNC guys around here. And the bracket game isn't done yet.

Another boring early game so far. Hope the 2nd is more entertaining.

Uh... 12-2 run by Syracuse, 3 point game. Ok then. I should have complained sooner.

And down goes VA. Again.

Tony Bennett is just not a solid tournament coach. He didn't adjust for the press, and it was their undoing.

Interesting look at our bracket game. I'm in 7th but everyone in front of me has no champ left. Guess I'm cheering for UNC to win now.

I'll run the possible scenarios later.

Yes! UNC is Final Four bound!

Weathered two strong runs by a dynamic Notre Dame team with some clutch minutes from the bench. Next up, match #4 against Syracuse!

I'll root for Oklahoma because Big 12, and I'll root for UNC because Roy Williams. After that, it's Oklahoma all the way.
