Warframe

But you do have some good and fun frames right there.

With the limited time I have to play, relying on RNG and grinding doesn't work for me (looking at some of the times to get the parts and pieces) especially with something as fundamental as Frames.

That makes sense. Let me know if you need certain parts. I have a few in excess I am on PC btw. Just making sure we are both on the same platform.

XB1. It seems that I'm pretty alone on XB1 with Warframe.

Damn, and yeah. Not many I know on XB1.

The new warframe Nehza has been a joy to play with since the newest patch dropped (on ps4 yesterday), an excellent support class that maintains a high enough ability dps at the cost of being kinda squishy.

The sortie reward only bit is a pain though. Especially since Sortie RNJesus hates me. I get lenses that I don't need and weapon parts that I don't want. I can't wait until they implement a token system.

The thread is alive!

A major quest in Warframe or Diablo?
Somehow I can never seem to catch you online, if you are stuck in a non-archwing Warframe quest, I'd be glad to assist.

Stuck on a Warframe quest, hehe. I've finished Diablo many times over by now.

The quest is the one where after capturing some Important Person (name starts with an "M") you now have to break into a facility based on the intel you've interrogated out of her. Because you can't farm much out of this mission there's nobody else playing it for matchmaking purposes. I went in solo and got wrecked by all the security systems. I'm expected to play an extended door hacking mini-game in the time it takes for a laser wall to traverse a short hallway. I suppose I'm supposed to invest in and equip a hacking Sentinel for this job?

Wasn't feeling like redirecting my farming efforts - or spending my precious Plat - for a new Sentinel just yet so that's when I got a bit deflated.

I know precisely the area you are referring to. And there is a trick to it:

Spoiler:

after the second set of moving lasers, turn left, instead of right, into a door that has a switch to disable the moving laser system.

If you still wanted to go about it the way you have been, I suggest stocking up on cyphers to crack locks in under 2 seconds.
It was a good idea to save your plat though, there is no sentinel to improve hack times/difficulty.
Still need help? I'm available today/night, but after that, I'm moving again and won't have any accessible internet for about 2 weeks.

I'm doing Jordas Precept, but I can't for the life of me get the Pherliac Pod blueprint to drop from Juggernauts. I'm farming them on Eris since the wiki says it doesn't matter where as long as you spawn and kill a Juggernaut there is a drop chance. Anyone with the blueprint remember where it dropped? Shall I just continue with rng? I'm 20+Juggernauts in now and starting to tire of this quest

Still need to do that one as well. Curious what others can bring up

There are also different streams by the developer. Worth watching, as they give platinum away and there is eye candy as well

Megan?

Sorry for the double post, heh.

I'll give this mission another go and take the left instead!

Played this back during an alpha or beta build and was put off by how raw it was, but got bored tonight and redownloaded it. Pretty cool to see how far it's come. I'm still pretty green so if anyone wants to get together some time and teach me the ways of the frame that'd be cool.

About the only advice I can give for this is to be a Nekros, this way at least you can desecrate the corpse for a second drop. RNG can be such a pain at times.

Rebecca not too bad either, but yeah, Megan for sure

PC. My XB1 is basically a netflix/hulu machine anymore.

Well, all I can do is give you guides to read/watch (whilst bored at work):

Fennyface's Beginners Guide
Official QuickStart Guide

A Gentlemen's Guide to Warframe:

If you go for Total Biscuit:

Rank 0: Primary Weapons:

The rest that I've found are way out of date.

Let The GRIND begin then . Eh, at least it pays well with a credit booster .10-20k a mission :p

Sure I'm on most of my free time. Gruntveteran in Warframe and on Steam.

I watched a few of these multiple times as I was learning the ropes in late-Dec/early January:

I think I'm going to give this a try. I need my mindless grind fix and I think I'm finally done with Diablo for a while.

Feel free to friend me up as well. Name is the same in game as in steam and here. We are just getting the clan dojo up and running now, I can send you an invite.

You talking about this in the Division thread is what reminded me I never tried it after the full release.

There was an event yesterday featuring Infested invasions on Venus. I ended up getting the Nyx Helmet and Chassis quite by accident then grinded the Phorid boss fight a half dozen more times to get the Systems to drop. Dropped 10 Plat on a Control Module since I can't be arsed to grind a tonne more in the Void. Should be getting the Nyx frame in a day or so!

Kind of a pleasant surprise. I've maxed Excalibur and quite enjoy that one. Currently leveling Volt and I'm not really feeling it but plugging away anyway for the Mastery rank ups. It will be good to have a third frame in the mix.

Volt is quite some fun I find. Speed sometimes very useful. Still need to go for Prime Volt...

Hi Eldon, if your invitation is still on the table...
I have literally done nothing with the current clan and have no problem with leaving.

It is. However, I'm not likely to be able invite you (or play, period.) for about two weeks while I get myself moved into some new diggs. If you want to wait that long, I'd be more than happy to invite you.
And that invitation is available to any other PS4 players too .

Ah that's no problem at all. I can wait.

Ooops, it's actually 3 days for Nyx to build. Well then...

Does anyone have recommendations for shotgun-style primaries? I have been looking at the Drakgoon and I am liking the call back to the Unreal Tournament flak cannon! Could there be something else around the same level that's also good? (I'm Mastery Rank 4 now)

My go-to shotgun is the Khom. I had the same thought about the Drakgoon when I first saw it, but, and maybe I'm using it wrong, it doesn't seem to do much damage per shot. And it being a charge up weapon, I can't see myself using it for major firefights.
The Kohm is a spin-up shotgun that progressively fires faster the longer the trigger is pressed. A multi-shot mod and a fire rate mod add to the potency of this shotgun, allowing an even greater number of bullets to be flung from its barrel over a smaller amount of time.
My next planned shotgun is the New Loka Tigris, once I hit rank 12 (currently an 11), equipped to a toxic-alignment Chroma and with a bunch of reload mods.

Can anyone tell me why the Penta grenade launcher falls into the sniper rifle category? I wouldn't have guessed this except that I saw that a Sniper Rifle ammo mutation mod can be applied to it.
