Animal Crossing: New Leaf (3DS) Catch-All

I could have used that snow lady in my town yesterday! I saw a snowflake that looked different than the regular snow and wondered if I could catch it and I could! But I ended up selling it because there were no snow ladies in my town that wanted it.

It seems I now have an octopus living in my town as of today!

Waiting with all the animals in the town square for the New Year countdown. (Playing Skyrim while we wait.) I think I am the worst snowman builder in history as yet again I keep accidentally smashing them against something. Ah well! Eventually!

Started to build a well in my town as I like the look of it and the citizens never seem to stop wanting more public works projects. Started to work in the cafe as well on occasion, but having trouble remembering what the animals want for their orders. I think I have Flora's right though!

Anyone have any extra perfect fruits? Peck seems to want one.

I'll take that as a no.

Savanna the zebra moved in today. Which means I now have the full 10/10 villagers!

I've been primarily in maintenance mode lately, popping in to make sure flowers are watered and a couple favorite animals don't decide to move away while I'm not looking. Slowly, I'm contributing bells towards a quaint-looking water well being built for the town. Skyrim fever has taken me over for the moment. There is a fishing tournament going on in my town today though, so maybe will send in a couple of entries! Oh! And I have a couple more new paintings in my museum despite Redd's efforts to cheat me!

Did anyone start playing again because of the free "Welcome Amiibo" update? I think it's pretty cool that we got a update almost 4 years after the game came out. It also gives me more use out of those cards I bought for Happy Home Designer, and the amiibo figures from Amiibo Festival.

Here is the Animal Crossing direct from yesterday.

I have considered picking it up again...

I just updated the game, will play later today for sure.

It totally sucked me back into playing. For how long? I'm not sure, but I've already found myself eyeing Animal Crossing Amiibos

I don't really understand the fascination with amiibos so don't care much about that part, but it does sound like we'll be getting more storage space for our houses, so I'm naturally happy about that. Plus new furniture items are always good!

This probably won't affect me. I like me some Amiibos, just not specifically Animal Crossing ones. Unless Zelda, Mario, or Metroid ones do something, I'm out of luck. Sounds cool, though. I got this digitally way back when, so I may fire it back up and mess around.

If you're active please add me. I just bought the game a week ago.

My whole family has been playing this off and on since it came out. I finally got a DS back in July and have since joined them. As soon as I get home I'll send you a friend request. I can hook you up with several different fruits, silver tools, and a nice wad of bells to get you started.

Edit: I registered you as a friend, here's my code so you or anyone else playing can do the same: 3841-0092-8500

Gotcha added, hope to see you online soon!

I can be on this evening any time between 5-11PM EST, just let me know when. My two year old son loves watching the DS so I can get away with playing while he's still up, otherwise I usually don't get any gaming in until about 8.

Edit: Playing now until 8:15 or 8:30 EST, message me if you happen to jump on.

Okay now I have a request for anyone that might still be playing. I'm still looking for a couple pieces for the Sleek, Exotic, and Harvest set if anyone has them. I would be willing to trade anything out of my catalog you might need, or throw in a hefty some of bells. Not much cash left after paying off the last upgrade for my house, but I could probably do at least 10-15K for each piece.
