Modded Minecraft Multiplayer Server

I'm interested and will help as well

I have several commodity production lines ready to go into this shared ME network in place of the array of ender chests I had envisioned. They are iron, redstone, wheat, white wool, and lava. I can add obsidian and wheat seeds soon. The rate of production on these lines may not yet be what it ultimately needs to be, but we'll know that as things develop.

I would like to add gold and ender pearls if I can be the one to do that. We will need blaze rods badly.

I have no idea what a ME network is but it does sound interesting. Are we hooking up centralized farms to it or something?

An ME (AE2) network is a Minecraft mod that simulates storing objects in a computer in digital form. That way, physical storage isn't required. Setting up an AE2 network is quite complex but Cryptobassman has offered to set people up with access.

The answer to your second question is "yes".

The server has been updated to version 6b

A sad day for botania

What is a good resource pack that works well with this/these mods?

Any post 1.7 pack should work fairly well as any mod textures that are new are just loaded with the default look. I really like the Faithful pack, it stays true to the Minecraft look while updating it's jagged/rough edges

Hungry Node Detected

The node is on the sea path between The Vault and the southeastern players (Shrike, DRM, Razz, myself). I'm astonished that we haven't found it yet. I'm wondering if maybe it was introduced in the patch?

Exact coordinates: (x: -760, z: 1557, y: 64)

I made the node safe with obsidian, but it will difficult to escape without flight or teleportation.

The vault is up and functioning, and about 8 of you have quantum bridges that give you access at your base.

Anyone that isn't connected and would like to be, please let me know. There is also an excess of power being generated by both Shrike and myself, so if someone needs help getting power going and doesn't want to go through it on their own, let me know and i'll get you a tesseract with access to our the Vault power.

The Ender Dragon. Let's kill it.

I found a stronghold and activated the End Portal. You can reach it via the Crypto portal network with code:

1. Eye of Ender
2. Eye of Ender
3. Eye of Ender
4. Eye of Ender
5. Eye of Ender
6. Eye of Ender
7. Eye of Ender
8. Eye of Ender
9. Eye of Ender

What times are good for folks?

How's tonight after 7PM PST?

Works for me!

Crafting the Golemancers Bell causes a crash. Tested by myself and confirmed by DRM. I spent almost 2 hours setting up for them which is a real pain.

Odd or Arovin, any chance you can admin one into the game for me and DRM until it's patched and put them in the post?

I'm in.

Sounds good to me.

Oddrune or Arovin, I need your help.

TL:DR A bunch of my stuff is gone and I would love to not have to fight the ritual of Gaia II three more times to replace the stuff that vanished because of a client/server glitch.

I spent a most of last night getting the botania relics. There was a really weird lag/latency that I was getting which resulted at one point in me having two of myself in at the same time. I proceeded to kill the version of myself that was just standing around and took his stuff. This meant I got two of everything he was carrying (only some of my stuff since I had left most of my stuff in a chest for the Ritual of Gaia II.

I then continued to go through the ritual until I had gotten all 6 relics. After this, I started to learn how to use them, and put stuff back into my inventory. I also used a bunch of the gaia spirits to make a Shard of Laputa.

After I completed the shard and was chilling at my base, I got kicked from the game. When I eventually came back in, it showed me dead and back at the location where I had done the Ritual of Gaias.

I went there, and I had no grave. I went to my base, and had no grave. I still had the baubles I had gotten up to but everything I is gone. Since some of my stuff was duped, these are the only things I actually lost, and the ones with asterisks are what I would love it if you would spawn. The tinker tools stuff is replaceable easy enough.

Pretty please can you use your all powerful admin abilities to help? I'm not sure if you can put these in my inventory or if I need the dice of fate again, or if I need to kill the gaia guardian againsince the reclis are bound. I'll be on at some point today when you guys are if you could help.

Will of Darak
Will of Karil
Key of the King's Law
Eye of Flugel
The Fruit of Grisaia
Shard of Laputa with a shard power XX

Lost but if you can't give em to me with a bunch of modifier slots already open, I can remake em if need be.

Ugh, sorry to hear that Crypto. I just logged in and found myself in a similar situation -- I got disconnected from the server last night, reconnected, killed my doppelganger, and looted my grave... now today, I log in and found myself dead at the point where i had killed myself, with no inventory. Thankfully I had put all of the "unique" duplicate items I had (weapons, armor, tools) into safe storage as a backup set, so the only things I really lost are my easily-replaceable heart containers. :/

Moral of the story: If you see your doppelganger in Minecraft, do NOT kill it, and anything you are carrying when you next quit the game will probably NOT be there when you return, so don't leave anything of significance on your person. In fact, might be best to try quitting and relogging immediately, to try to force a reconnection to that original character?

Let me see what I can do next time I see you on.

Logging in now, will sit there til you have a chance.

I did the exact same thing weeks ago with the exact same results. Should've posted it here, but I thought it had to be a one-off weird thing.

...I'm still gonna kill me if I see myself again.

I am at work right now, feel free to play as you want. I will just have you empty your inventory before I do the restore.

I'm at work as well, just afkin till you get home. My inventory is empty, no baubles or anythin on me right now.

For some reason the command /help causes me to be kicked off my session.

Crypto, I left a chest on the 1st floor of your house with what I was able to restore. But, I think that death was a couple hours before you lost your stuff. It did not make a grave file or inventory backup when you killed your clone that I could do a restore from.

If I see you on again I will try to manually restore those gaia items. They are a little odd, as they bin to you when created and kill anyone else who tries to use them so I could not give them to my self and leave them for you.

I got my own head, as a reward. It's mounted on wall above my bed. That's not weird, right?

Me too. Might be something worth reporting to the mod bundle owner?

We have now gone to the moon!

Not because it was easy (wasn't too bad) but because it was hard (beds now explode on the moon, enemies do have the armor on occasion, night is still stupidly long).

There's a moonbase there now, I'm calling it 'crapfort' for the moment, because I had to do it in a hurry.
Only real reason to go there is to get meteors to make mars rockets, and the reason to go to mars is... uh... very... efficient mobfarming potential? There's a liquid there that spawns a bunch of enemies when any mob gets into it, like 10-20 at a time, making it an XP bonanza with a tiny amount of drops.

So far, server seems stable, and there's a functional air compressor up there to keep your air tanks filled, using space trees. There's still the stupid-hard dungeons up there, but luckily, we can now craft the blueprints for the rockets and buggies and so on.

Galacticcraft really needs to add more variation, more reason to go to space beyond 'will it break the server'?

And since the tekkit server, the mod has certainly improved. Glowstone torches aren't horrible, machines work with the standard power sets more capably, there's a bit more stuff to do and build, and the solar system map is amazing.

If people are truly interested (and we can do cross-dimensional portals without screwing everything up), I could put together a facility for exploring other planets.

I am working towards the requirements to summon a demon village. I understand they can be huge.

Oddrune, did you have a plan as to where you were thinking the demon village should go? Do you want to do the honors of summoning it?

Anyone else have ideas on where we should put the 1000x1000 village? I was thinking either far north east, or generating land towards the south or east and building it out there.

You might want to consider making a Dimension with RFtools and having it there.
