7 Days To Die , Catch All

The same glitch happened on another server I was playing in.
got so frustrated we turned the console on and returned everything it glitches away from us.

Maybe the minibike wasn't ready for prime time just yet....

Also, YAY FORGES!!!

Finally found another engine and built a second minibike. Used it fine for a bit, logged off, the logged back in only to find it glitched. I did also find an Auger and dug the start of a moat.

Have you guys run into the massive memory leak bug where player structures can get wiped out? Had that happen to me at 25 days in.

Hotpatch 12.2 just dropped.
It mentioned something about memory hogging being fixed or improved...

I was wandering around tonight and found a new small city. It had a drug store and as soon as I broke the door open, the entire building starting collapsing. Frame rate dropped to -11 I think.

Yep, saw that. Super stoked.

I've heard of that happening with the two floor Born & Noble as well. Haven't seen it though.

What I meant though was that the folks I play with had a survivable structure built up, the server crapped out due to a massive memory leak, and when I got it back up, everything had reset.

Server is updated to 12.2

Can't craft anything now. Every time I try to craft anything it says my inventory is full, but several slots are open.

Yea, that's a known bug. I'm almost certain it's a result of them fixing the item duping bugs.

Put the timers back to normal for crafting and you can craft again. I've read that if you then turn them off again afterwards things work - but we didn't test that on our little local server yet.

I set both timers to normal. At work so I can't check it until tonight.

I was walking across a bridge in Navegane and the roadcame apart and fell into the river.

So buggy, so hilarious...

Also, the toggling of craft timers worked on my friends server.

I did toggle the timer settings. It did reset the day count to one again. Hopefully everything else is still there.

Ok, finally ran into the two story Born & Noble structural error. There I was, picking up couches to burn and all of a sudden.. BAM! half the floor falls out from underneath me.

Server is updated to Alpha 12.3

Careful with the iron log spikes. You can pour iron into them with no actual effect.

Ugh!! Yeah I discovered this after going through a stack of 500 scrap iron on a few rows of spikes. The Minibike storage is still bugged also. Don't put anything in the storage or the bike will disappear. I created a new minibike without the basket and so far it has lasted 4 days.

The bike storage must be a new one. I hadn't had that happen to me. Major bummer, since the extra storage is a huge part of what makes it so useful.

GWJ FunHouse is patched to 12.5. I also downgraded to 8 players for now as it is getting very little use. If the next three months shows little use, I'm dropping the subscription.

New Alpha 13 preview video! Now with 100% more decapitation!

7 Days to Die. We'll leave a light on.

Everyone ready for alpha 13??

I'm more than ready for A13 to hit, and really hope it drops tonight or tomorrow.

I've been away from 7D2D for almost all of the time A12 has been live, but the zombie survival itch has been returning lately so I'm excited to dive back in to it as soon as I can generate a new world with the A13 content.

Alpha 13 was released today. If it doesn't show as being updated, you may just have to shut Steam down and start it up again.

...And it is freaking wonderful...
I am getting my butt handed to me early and often.
It lends a fantastic tension to the early game that seemed to be missing from the last version...

I like the zombie stun mechanics because I find shooting them in the head and double tapping the stunned zombie to work. The new interface is so necessary too. You can decapitate zombies now too!

I had high hopes for the patch, but I'm done already with it.

1. New interface is too clumsy. I really liked the old version.
2. Four 9mm bullets, point blank to the head of a zombie before it dies. Really?
3. I jumped over a pile of trash and broke my leg. REALLY!!!
4. Day 7, I'm sitting in the dark of a safe place, not sensed by anything. It is a concrete building and I have lined it with rebar frames, inside and out. I'm going to ride the night out, when a horde spawns outside my building. They attack the walls and enter in a matter of seconds, SECONDS, wiping me out. *ugh*
5. When does a Fireaxe break when you chop down one tree? In this unforgiving game, that's where. *sigh*
6. The hit mechanics are still crap. CRAP I SAY!! *runs away pouting*

ps: I'll be back on tomorrow.

With the last few big patches it seems like they fix a couple things and break a couple things. I like the changes to resource gathering but tools still break after just a few uses and zombies should just be replaced with steel golems. At least then I would understand why it takes so many hits to kill one of them.
Performance on my system has taken a massive nosedive. For comparison, I can run ARK on high and GTA V on ultra but I have to run this game on low. Even medium causes the frame rate to drop so low that I get screen flicker and I start to get nauseous.

For a first time installation of a skill system, I don't think its bad at all.
Hopefully they can find a way to get away from the inane amount of grinding...
(If I drop one more stone axe or wooden club out of my inventory, i am going to scream.)

Its steps in the right direction for sure, but I think I'm done with it for a little while...

Most of the crafting is making sense to me but something about the gun assembly/repair interface is just not coming together for me. The wiki is useless, guess it is time to search reddit and the forums.
