And you didn't wait at the airport for me?

I'll probably be there, depending on how unpacking goes.

Just double checking if game night happening tonight, I can make it (been like 4 months or something).

I'm feeling a bit under the weather, so I won't be there this evening.

Yeah, it's still set to be on, swing on by if ya can.

Sorry to hear you're under the weather Dan, get better!

So after like 6 months of things coming up, I can finally make it this Friday.
Looking forward to it.

Excellent, for everyone else, this is a reminder that 6:30 this Friday, feel free to pop over and play some games!

And bumppity bump, this Friday, avoid the heat and rain and come play some games!

As of now, I am in.
Anyone want to play Powergrid?

I'd be down for some PowerGrid, heard a lot about it, never got it in the table before..

I'm at a beer festival, so will miss it. Apparently the closer somebody lives to your house, the harder it is to get to game night.

I can probably make it tonight. I got Seasons and Funemployed.

Had a great time playing Power Grid, Watching Gloom, and Funemployed (contender for Cards Against Humanity time!).

Thanks to all who swung by and had some fun!

I just bought Forbidden Stars and am giving it a go on vacation. If there's interest, I'll bring it along next month. I'm dedicated to getting to one of these again soon!

I impulse bought Powergrid deluxe. I blame you, Lunchbox.

I also got fascinated by Alchemists and mail ordered that, although that might be a bit heavy...

You are welcome. The only reason I have not bought Agricola yet is because of the iPad version.

As much as I love the boxed version of Agricola, I can't argue with the superiority (and ease of finding someone to play with!) of the iPad version.

Side note: I'm out at GenCon next week, so game night is currently off, I'll see about rescheduling an off-timing night in the near future.

Does anyone own a copy of the Voyages of Marco Polo? I know Tom Chick was pretty positive about it in an article this month, and I'm eager to try it out. I'm on the fence about purchasing it, so if any of you are permitted, that'll save me the money.

Never played it, (never even heard of it) don't have any feedback, sorry.

As for the next game night, I've updated it to be Next Friday (not tomorrow), September 4th. If you can make it, lemme know! It's been a long time, I'm itching for some more gaming goodness!

Sweet. I'm in!
Good thing you moved it, otherwise I'd be out for tomorrow.

I think I'm actually around for this one.

Crap - the one Friday I get clearance from the Missus, it's moved.

Oh well, have fun, gents and ladies!

Sorry, Oarsman! Just a reminder for everyone else, it's this Friday night!

On call this coming weekend

John, what bribe would we need to give your wife to let you do this more than monthly? Also how can we dilate time so we can fit that in along with family and work and the damn yard that needs mowing?

Well for the mowing, I heard the roomba guys are working on a mower unit.

Heh, can't help with the time dilation, but I'm working on moving this to a couple times a month, Friday/Saturday nights. Let me see what I can get on the calendar..

No time for me for the next couple months.....new house in July(third of an acre to mow), renaissance festival started two weekends ago(I work security), and school(2 classes) started last week.

Time to buy a goat! Might not help with the security (attack goat?) or the school ("My goat ate my homework!") but might work on the grass..

Sorry, we'll miss ya!

Ug now I remember why I hate dice games. Still tower defense board gaming is pretty cool.
Good times.

I think The King's Armory is now on my buy list; Funemployed definitely is.
