Star Wars Rebels Catch-All

Wow. That last scene. Wow.

Notice that...

Spoiler:

...the blaster portion of Ezra's lightsaber is aimed in Vader's direction.

Star Wars just keeps on giving this week. That looks amazeballs.

And it's not even May the 4th yet.

*swoon*

Showed that to my kids, and they both started smiling with huge grins when Rex showed up. Of all the things that happened during the Clone Wars, the thought of Rex and Cody turning against the jedi was the most disturbing. Learning that Rex did not made their morning.

Kind of wondering if the kid Ezra met in the storm trooper academy isn't John Bodeja'a character in n the new movie a few years later.

Edit: except that kid had an American accent. Nm.

And it's about thirty years between the show and the new movie

A grain of salt might be in order, but apparently there'll be a one hour episode this summer to hold us over until the fall. Said episode was screened at the convention yesterday.

As cool of a tie-in as that might be, it would really label him as the token black man of the series.

They already had Lando on, so there's two

How quickly we forget Willrow Hood.

I think I heard Minsc.

You did.

Jim Cummings is an incredibly prolific voice actor, but he does recycle that particular voice from time to time

His Tigger sounds a lot like Hondo and Minsc, too.

It just occurred to me that Minsc looks a lot like LL Cool J.

The one hour episode "Siege of Lothal" will debut on June 20th.

Season 1 is up for free on Starwars.com this weekend. Word is it'll be gone after May 4th.

Oh wow it's almost here.

I was all, "Man, that voice actor is doing a pretty solid turn at James Earl Jones."

That's cause it's James Earl Jones.

Also, James Earl Jones' IMDB page is a lot less impressive than I would have thought.

As long as Conan is on there, nothing else needs to be.

My son has been giving me a running countdown for weeks.

Good start to the second season. I think there is another episode tomorrow and then it goes on a six month break or something like that.

Nope. We're not getting any new episodes until late autumn, which is unfortunate since I WANT MORE NOW!

Between this and Cartoon Network's "bomb" where they air a new episode of a show every day for five days and then go on hiatus for a month or more I'm very, very confused what's going on with children's programming scheduling.

Children's programming changes up constantly. Near as I can tell, networks think kids will get bored if the programming is consistent. It's incredibly frustrating to have some show the kids like vanish without warning, and it happens *all the time*.

And since when did Disney XD start airing Doctor Who? For a moment I thought my DVR got my Orphan Black and Rebels recordings mixed up.

Dunno. Last night was the first time I saw Doctor Who on Disney.
