A Genie Appears. You Can Get a Sequel to Any Game But...

Lego Dark Souls just out of sheer morbid curiosity.

Especially if it launched with the Creator Set Lego sets as well.

Spoiler:

being Dark Souls Lego, you would get all of the pieces, but no instruction booklet in the packaging

I want StarCon2, the Elite: Dangerous mod.

I want KotOR 3 as an adventure game or a visual novel. Preferably with Revan, Carth, the Exile and Atton all in it.

Thought of another one - Psychonauts 2 as a 2.5D Metroidvania game.

Demon's Souls 2 as a 2D Metroidvania like Symphony of the Night.

While this is probably not that, exactly, it is absolutely worth paying attention to for any fan of Metroidvanias: Ghost Song.

Ghost Song: When Metroid Meets Dark Souls. *game* meets *game* might be a crude tool used to get them tasty clicks for your website, but after watching the trailer, I feel like it fits.

What happens when a game most notoriously know for its difficulty mashes up with a game most notoriously known for how easy it is?

My guess is bricks, bricks everywhere.

Euro Truck Dating Simulator

A lot of the Bioware games could stand to be remade as visual novels, actually. Basically, all the dialogue and story, none of the combat.

And I would snatch each and every one of those up in a heartbeat.

Gears of War bromance dating simulator. All's fair in love and war.

Borderlands dating sim
Gone Home 2D fighter
Euro Truck puzzle platformer
Portal prequel business management sim

Crusader Kings 3 as a japanese dating sim.
Wizball 2 as a flight sim. Air sick bag included in the deluxe GOTY version.
Animal Crossing as a mix of city builder and Smash TV action when you get tired of your city and its residents. A giant Nook is of course the final boss.

House of the Dead as a typing ...what? ....nevermind.

SOLD! Same if they did Interstate '76!

Pokemon Z as an MMO.

Three words:

Borderlands.

Kart.

Racing.

Then I might play a Borderlands for more than half an hour and enjoy it.

The Banner Saga Oregon Trail.

Bioshock Infinite as a turn/party based linear JRPG.

As mentioned above, Borderlands gameplay with the Starcraft theme is really really good. And TBH I think that Bordelrands with a Warcraft theme would be awesome too.

World of Starcraft would be flippin fantastic as well. There is no doubt in my mind that perhaps why it isn't in the works is that it would be the WoW killer. Starcraft is immensely more popular that Warcraft. (as witnessed by the fact that Starcraft is the e-sports king while Warcraft 2, which released earlier with many of the same RTS refinements, is not)

I have no idea why there is no Warhammer or Warhammer 40K Diablo clone.
Also while they are sh*tting out Warhammer trash left and right, why no Dawn of War in the Warhammer fantasy universe.

I would also play a Warhammer mmo in the vein of Guild Wars 2.

Metal Slug 3rd person shooter

Oh and Shadowrun single player 3rd person shooter.

My wife would like to see a Fallout 3 sequel in the style of a Fantasy Life where you play as Moira Brown collecting data for the wasteland survival guide.

Hello Surgery Minigame!

Freespace 3 as a Match 3 game.

TIE Fighter 2 as a Dance Dance Revolution Clone.

Starflight 3 as a First Person Shooter.

Distant Worlds 2 as a Racing Game.

I could do this all day...

Surgeon Simulator as a Dating Sim.

Mass Effect 3 fleet battles in the Homeworld Engine

That one has a chance.

Marvel vs Capcom as a Dynasty Warriors style game.

More Cave Johnson please!

Hatoful Boyfriend as a flight sim (I kid but I'd love a flight combat game where you played different birds. A hawk, an owl or a sparrow flitting between trees and finding prey to bring to a nest.)

Mark of the Ninja as a AAA RPG.

Lemon DLC

We actually once came close to something like the original premise of the thread. Years ago, Bethesda had the Star Trek license and was toying with the idea of making a game set in the Original Series time frame using the engine they developed for Oblivion. Imagine wandering around the Enterprise, popping into Captain Kirk's quarters, accidentally stealing something off of his desk, getting phasered, and waking up in the brig. However, the license ran out and they ultimately acquired the rights to Fallout and went from there. It's definitely one of those gaming might have beens that still tantalizes in the years since.

Who do I have to give money to in order to make that game happen!??

Space Hulk as a diablo style game. This was close and got me excited, Space Hulk Ascension.
