I have been watching everything dealing with Toy Fair 2015 so I thought I'd make a toy thread. There is already one for Legos.
Feel free to post anything about any toys.
The one thing I liked most from Toy Fair 2015 was the Batman The Animated Series Batmobile.
Working lights and wheels. Fits to figures from the TAS line. Cost is $89 to $100 dollars.
I like that stuff but don't like the thread title (I love Lego stuff)
On topic for Toy Fair I liked the new Diamond Select Ghostbuster figures and the Funko Firefly figures.
There's already a thread for showing off cool legos. Think there was one for this stuff before, but I have no idea where to find it.

Google led me to this, though the last post was from 2009
From the Toy Fair. Because when you think Breaking Bad you obviously think Mr. Potato Head.
I agree with the No LEGO rule. LEGO bricks are childish and even if you make something really complex with them, that thing is still covered in weird angles and nubs.
...Anyone want to see a thing I built in Minecraft?
Here is a toy question. I have like 10 figmas in my closet that I've never opened. Do figmas come with stands or do I need to buy those seperate? I know SHfiguarts don't come with a stand.
Also, anyone collecting the StarWars Black 6" figures. I have a bunch (still waiting to be opened of course)
Re: That Hulk looks good but I purposely stayed away from Hot Toys. Just too expensive (That was before my Lego addiction)
So I'll probably never have a good ghost rider.
It's the human condition, my friend.
So glad no one can see my Amazon wishlist dedicated to figurines.
That 1/6 scale Hulk looks amazing though.
Geez, only $100 for the Batmobile? I so don't get pricing of these things. Which is good, as I have no room.
yep
Just found out they have Attack on Titan figures.
Of course they do. That series is far too popular not to get any.
I've been buying the NECA 8-bit figures
These are the only dolls I collect (example companies):
(NSFW, due to that fact that these dolls are sold naked and displayed as such on the website)

There are a few more companies I used to frequent but the number of companies in general has exploded over the course of my decade in the hobby. If you don't know what a BJD is (or ABJD) but you like dolls, then this is a terrible rabbit hole.
If you want to know more (and I mean terrifying amounts of more), then feel free to ask. But I think the links and the sticker shock usually speak for themselves. A lot of the appeal is being able to fully customize things. There's a whole forum for the hobby which still has a vibrant second hand market if anyone is interested, (http://www.denofangels.com/), but again.... rabbit hole.
If you want to know more
I was gonna say there was a better chance of me being hit by an asteroid, but, why do nearly all of them look so sad?
Dolls have a long history, nearly as long as humanity itself, presumably, so I went old school with this one, but it might be a little too mean.
Are they made from children kidnapped by witches?
I've seen pics of those on some sites but had no idea they were so expensive! Gives collecting Hot Toys collectors a run for their money!
Here is the one I was considering.
Right now the only dolls I have are a wonder woman barbie and a cat woman barbie still in the boxes. I hate to say it but I'm tempted to buy the frozen dolls also. I wish could a get a notice every time a comic book version of barbie comes out. The doll is crappy in general but I still nerd out that I have wonder woman and cat woman.
She does look sad yes, expression is pretty neutral, but those eyes push it over the top.
Go Wondy.

That looks like a Dollfie Dream to me. Technically I think those might be vinyl instead of resin cast, but I know you could probably get a secondhand one without too much trouble if you're dedicated and post a WTB on the forums (they were grandfathered into the hobby despite different materials and builds if I recall correctly). Sometimes people leave the hobby suddenly and sell everything mint.
http://www.volksusa.com/ (if you like anime versions of those dolls this is a great place to find that style of doll)
I have seen some amazing FF7 dolls in the hobby. I should dig up some owner custom pics so people can see how amazing this can get....
