WoW BHA WoD Raid Thread

Blackrock Foundry at 7:00 PM Server Tuesday, 2/3.

Intended order is Gruul - Oregorger.

Carganthem pretty much whenever, as usual.

Duclama and Cutiepi - our start time is usually 8 or 9 Central, weekends can be a little earlier sometimes

Duclama - mDPS - Paladin (or, in a pinch, Tank, I haven't learned the fights yet)

and

Cutiepi - rDPS - Priest (her offspec is Disc, but she's more comfortable in Shadow. Might could heal in a pinch)

Hozen - monk mDPS or heals. Any day except Sunday.

Edit: Blizzard coming Tuesday, so this is assuming I have power and internet.

Heals, mdps, rdps. Whatever you'd like on Tuesday.

Cyrana - rDPS - I got no where else to go!

*If I'm not there on Tuesday, the blizzard has claimed me.

In to tank any day but Wednesday.

Yagrum/Diogenes, Good weekdays 7 to 11 EST. Assuming the Blizzard has not claimed me as well. Also, Sunday night's a no go.

Shanker, seems like there's a joke in there somewhere about NE fans being willing to deflate Bradys balls any time he asks, but I'm taking the high road.

Good to go mon-thurs 7-10

I'm home this weekend too, if we want a weekend raid, or 3rd day

If the raid comp accommodates, I'd prefer to play on the Hunter for the bosses "on farm", and can heal for the progression fights

Out friday, otherwise Im around.

I'm in for Tues and Thurs.

Okay. See you all at 7.

Keladry, heals, Tuesday and Wednesday. Cannot do Thurs this weeks folks, sorry.

Elgard - heals and stuff.

Tuesday and Thursday nights from 8-10 eastern

Platipus & Edric

Tuesday & Thursday 7-11

The only thing we ask is that you have all the toons you want to run be reasonably geared and already ready at the raid location. With the limited time available, we may look at having a designated "substitution time" so we're not spending lots of time moving people in and out of raid.

Reap: What sort of iLevel and DPS are you looking for from a melee DPSer for raids?

Not that I'm able to find the time. But I figure I'll be able to join in eventually, and I need a target to shoot for in the meantime.

Pencilshow

lock stones and pedo closets

in for tues and thurs

I will probably not be able to make much of tonight's raid after all. I will show up when I can to see if you still need help.

The ability to queue for the LFR version of the raid. So for Highmaul, ilvl 615 and Silver DPS.

Foundry opens Tuesday and I think the LFR for that will require 635 and Silver.

You don't actually need Silver proving grounds to enter a normal raid but they are a good (if easy) indicator of what to expect for your role.

Looks like we missed this. Guess I should check more often.

Edit, I thought you only needed PG for Heroic Dungeons, LFR is iLvl tourist mode?

To clarify, one does not need to have completed Proving Grounds to enter a premade group raid. Nor does one need any set ilvl.

However, I would say that I personally believe both the Proving Grounds and ilvl requirements are strong indicators of what will be required at a minimum.

Oh! I misunderstood.

Based on feed back from regularly attending raiders, we will be shifting to a regularly scheduled Tuesday raid at 7:00 PM. There will be no further raid schedules posted unless absolutely necessary.

We will continue to utilize the forums to post videos and strats.

Please feel free to contact me in-game with any questions.

Wowhead has put up guides to most of the encounters in BRF. Might be worth a look before Tuesday: http://www.wowhead.com/guides/raidin...

A good Oregorger video from LOS Gaming I came across today: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DDGE...

There's also one for Gruul with a cool tank strat and one for Beastlord Darmac, which seems to be the consensus third boss to tackle.

Thanks, Koz!

Koz, those videos are great, thank you for putting these up!

Everybody who's interested, they videos are like 2 minutes long. Check em' out!

You actually don't need Silver PG at all for LFR; that was only a gate for Heroic dungeons. That said, since Silver PG is a gating method for heroics, which are the track for normals, I'd say that there's a rather strong case for requiring it; doubly so when you look at how ridiculously easy LFR is.

Tonight, we'll be looking at Heroic Kargath - Oregorger - Darmac. Please review the videos provided by Koz earlier in the thread.
