(And congrats)

First, thanks for creating the thread, and thank you for the congratulatory comments

But I gotta ask... how does this work? Do I choose one? Is there a poll that everybody votes in? If it is up to me, do I submit it to somebody? Halp.

Thanks again!

You must choose, but choose wisely.

You get to choose!

People will usually choose from among the suggestions in the thread - on occasion the taggee will go rogue and choose one of their own creation, though that usually comes with some good-natured teasing from the peanut gallery.

Once there's one you've decided on, you just send a PM to Certis (though usually you'll want to post your decision in the thread, so folks can applaud / begrudge your choice).

Additionally, you can also tell us a bit more about yourself, your likes and dislikes and we can riff off that.

And if you take too long... Train Princess!

Destiny's Child

Wow, I like a lot of these!

Let's see. I worked on a game called Lilly Looking Through, I'm a programmer and designer of interactive stuffs. I like Twin Peaks, Star Wars (Original Trilogy only, please,) D&D 5e, all sorts of games (mostly XB1 at this point playing the crap out of Destiny currently.) Minecraft. I loved Twin Peaks. Korra/Aang. Some anime. Married with two kids and love all of them... currently working from home, but that might not be that way forever, admittedly.

The name dRailer originated from Quake II, wherein I was the office game night master of the Rail Gun. (Example - Two of my co-workers were huddling together up in a precarious overlook where they "couldn't miss me" standing back to back... it did not go well for them.) Add my first initial, "d" and there you have it. Also at the time I was into mountain biking... so it made a little bit of extra sense at the time. I've used that tag in some form or other for over a decade. Over time, I've established myself as a tangental thinker, as well... so... the above tags about steering off topic are accurate as well!

I like Destiny's Child as a tag, but I'm not a fan of the band, lol. (It makes a lot of sense, though... I've kept the Destiny thread alive and moving... shall we say... a number of times.) I also like the one about me gaming/working from home... BUT I'm worried that things might change shortly and my tag will seem weird.

Well, Destiny's Stepchild, then.

1k in the destiny thread?

If Not For The Xbox, I'd Still Be a Grinder (Most posts are in Xbox Catch-All and Destiny threads)
I Actually Have Non-Goodjer Friends (Is almost always in Destiny with a couple of his good friends)
If It's In The Xbox Store, I Own It (Self-explanatory)
Major Nelson 2.0 (Big fan of the XB1, has great opinions regarding most stuffs there, shares his opinions in a great, supportive and informative way)

(It's a start, I suppose)

LOL, some excellent suggestions... thanks everybody. Abu, you know me better than I thought, by a longshot!

I think though, the more I mull it over, the more it is a toss up between two:

#damnfinecoffee makes sense. It says "twin peaks," it says, caffeinated (and thus, indirectly, mind abuzz and hints at programmer!)

This is not the thread you're looking for is also great. Star Wars, and a bit of a "derail" thrown in there for good measure.

#damnfinebluemilk? I kid.

this was the thread you're looking for

Whaaaaaa!!!! *cough* Sorry, but I'm gonna gush a bit. I *loved* Lilly Looking Through!!! It was so charming and smart, and poetic... Any plans for another, similar adventure game? (You may not know this about me, but adventure games are a weakness of mine)

Also, don't pick "Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition" unless you want Grenn to have a heart attack.

I don't know, that's a pretty decent derail in modern history

No, just no. It'd probably break my spreadsheet.
Seriously, sometimes I wish someone would pick it, just to see Grenn's head explode...
