Same thing really. The term elf and fairy is pretty much interchangable, I think.

In Celtic myth the Sidhe are supposed to be "good fairies" while Unsidhe are the "hunting humans / killing for fun /stealin' babies" type.

I refer you to: Classifications of fairies vs Aos Sí.

You say chopping light red cattleman, I say mincing pink cowboy.

I know it is old, but tis the proper thread! I wanted to play this game, but so much of the costumes is hidden by the pay-wall that I just gave it up immediately after making my character and realizing half of the stuff I made for her was gone. So here she is in all her glory at both her birth and death.

Every time I get nostalgic to play Champions Online I have to remind myself that you can't really design someone unique unless you pay up. Such a harsh restriction. I think they'd be more successful if they let people design whatever they want, let them get attached to their character, then charge for something down the road.

This game still exists? Weird, I thought they pulled the plug on it. The 7 people who play it must really spend a lot on micro transactions

Agreed!

Champions Online is just one of those games that I have to play every now and then. It's not bad - It's a somewhat above average game. But for some reason I'd rather play that than DCUO, and every now and then I feel the urge to return just to explore.

I wish they'd add the mission architect system from City of Heroes, Star Trek, and Neverwinter to Champions Online. One of Champions Online's biggest weaknesses is lack of content, but the mission architect plus its fantastic character creator would make it a pretty good F2P MMO.
