Castle Catch All.

Happy Monday!

Well that was a thing...

Yuuuup.

I enjoyed that.

I'm intrigued by the mystery, and I'm cool with a puzzle that doesn't get solved in exactly 42 minutes. I really enjoyed The Killing, after all. But I hate the relationship reboot and drama that is going to apparently occur for a while this season.

I know who did it:

Within the mythos of Castle where aliens and ghosts might exist, I think this arc beginning setups the season up quite well. Now, if they can only carry it through without all the "will-he-won't-she" crap rolled in for their relationship. Let them be, and solve some mysteries!

I must have seen a different episode because that was just garbage. It's always been a cheesy show at some level but this was like watching a Spanish soap opera. It would have been ok if they were actively making fun of the whole thing as satire but... Barf.

I can see the writers and producers. We need the never ending tension of them not getting married. How can we reboot that for the show?

Let's have castle ditch the wedding!
Let's have him abducted
No! Let's have him have a secret double life!
No! Let's have him in a coma
No lets go with amnesia!

That whole thing was just nonsensical and made the season premier of the new doctor who look like Shakespeare (and that had a dinosaur.)

This is the biggest pile of sh*t of all the premieres that have aired, new or returning.

It all makes sense now!

We have to go back, Nomad! Back to the island!

Spoiler:

Castle is too afraid of tsunamis to go to an island.

Ha! Loved the bit where the interviewer bags on the plot of the season premiere.

I enjoyed the previews for next week. My wife and I may have laughed harder at those than anything in this episode (but we enjoyed this episode).

Definitely interesting.

Well that was more lighthearted fun (crazy sci-fi) Castle. Everybody happy?

That's a lot of dental floss.

Well, they addressed your fears pretty well last night. Feeling more optimistic now?

Happy Monday

I'm not normally pulled out of the reality of a show, but every time they showed 2nd grader "writing" on this episode, we were like "in what universe?" It looked like it was printed on a computer with kid font.

Otherwise, the Kindergarten Cop homage was fun.

Woowwwwww, that end interrogation made me think of #gamergate. Am I crazy?

There was a lot of real world stuff in this one. Instagram/snapchat mosh up. And the thing with taking a picture of the keys, there's an iOS app for that, that was featured on the Today show a couple months ago, just for that purpose of stealing keys.

I was definitely getting all kinds of various internet meme and abuse vibes. GG is too recent to be relevant, but the crazy stuff leveled at people over the last few years would still be good fodder.

And we're back tonight. Happy Monday!

So I guess every show has to do an It's A Wonderful Life episode eventually huh?

Kinda dumb, kinda fun. I guess they've earned the right after entertaining us for so long.

The last few minutes reminded me a lot of a particular episode of Lois & Clark.

Yes, but it has nothing to do with a tv show.

:D

Is it about ethics in a star's former cast members?

(I didn't catch the GG parallels. I was thinking about Selfie.)

Oh man, black hat cowboy Beckett. Yowza.
