NFL 2014: Week 4

Late with picks this week, been a rough one.

Green Bay @ Chicago - Chicago

Philadelphia @ San Francisco - Philadelphia

Buffalo @ Houston - Buffalo

Atlanta @ Minnesota - Minnesota

New England @ Kansas City - Kansas City

Wow. Flacco drops the snap, dusts it off, and still manages to toss a 25 yard td to a receiver being flagrantly interfered with.

I think the Bears just scored but the GB defender is blocking the best camera angle. So no TD on the replay and the half ends.

I usually don't believe in complaining about referees. I think if a game comes down to one or two calls that the team hadn't done enough in many of the other opportunities throughout the game.

But the officiating in the Bears/Packers game goes beyond horrible. I don't recall ever seeing such bad calls, going both ways. I'm just flabbergasted at the incompetence of the officiating staff on just about every level.

JJ Watt. Wow.

Yeah, I'm an idiot.

That roughing call after Cutler slid in the second was laughable.

I like it that Steve Smith shows up when Steve Smith says he will.

I'm a Bears fan and I agree.

The game went off the rails for the Bears anyway, but the point remains that this game was just ridiculous.

I guess we know now that Steve Smith can back up his talk.

You mean he can back up Steve Smith's talk.

It's almost TEDDY TIME!

Smith has made a career out of doing just that. Can't say I'm surprised.

What's surprising is how limp the Panthers are. After 2 weeks they were a 12-4 team. Now they'll be lucky to win 6 games.

Tampa Bay 1st and goal with 15 sec left, no timeouts. Just waiting to see how they blow it this week.

Holy Vincent Jackson. The Bucs may have won a game.

Woooooo! Thank you Tampa Bay!

The most Steelers game.

WIN WIN WIN WIN WIN WIN

Sorry, it's a rare thing for me. Seriously, after giving up 56 last week, going on the road to win this game is pretty mind-boggling. Much thanks to the assist from the stupid parts of Pittsburgh's brain; they committed six 15-yard penalties today.

There goes Harbaugh, pissing away challenge flags like he's got 10 a game.

I only saw that last minute of the game. Happy for the win but how did Glennon play the rest of the game? 50% passing accuracy ain't gonna cut it.

He played like Mike Glennon; pretty good when he had time, not so good when pressured. Had one of his patented "run backwards 15 yards before getting sacked", a couple iffy balls, generally pretty good. Numbers were deflated by several drops; Louis Murphy had a couple drops prior to his big catch at the end. One of the picks wasn't Glennon's fault, as Mike Evans (who was having a very solid game) pulled up lame on a deep ball with a groin injury, and it was an easy pick by the DB. Basically, he was OK and didn't do anything incredibly stupid. Like Josh McCown would have.

Teddy 4/4 for 61 yards. Vikings score rushing TD from 2 yards out. Solid 1st drive.

That is the most bullsh*t offensive PI I have ever seen.

Philly db ran into Philly db, and one of them was holding the whole time.

EDIT: Ed Hochuli, of course. And on the next play they call defensive holding and give the 49ers the first down they should have had.

Teddy now 6/6 for 98, including a beautiful strike to Jennings. Another rushing TD in Minn.

Steelers

f*ck. Kaep INT for 6.

Can't give Philly free points without their offense on the field and expect to win.

OMFG. And now a punt return TD for Philly.

Who needs an offense when your defense and special teams puts up 3 touchdowns in the first half? Eagles sure don't seem to.

All credit to the Vikings but man, the Falcons defense is just terrible.
