3D Logic

3D Logic is a simple, slick little puzzle game that has you connecting colored squares across three sides of a rotating cube. The presentation isn't especially stylish, but the overall design is terrific, with user-friendly options that allow you to undo moves, reset the cube face, and even return to your most recently attempted level.

Each new level offers a more complex cube, with more colors and gridspace to manage. Just when you think you've mastered 3D Logic's rule set you'll be confronted by a cube that demands a new level of strategic thinking. It's a great puzzle game, one that rewards you from the moment you begin, gradually convinces you that you're brilliant, and then slowly crushes you beneath its heel.

Isn't this a clone of another game? Had more of a stylish pulsating beats kind of look to it ...

Okay... well, level 16 has officially broken my brain. Hopefully that ranks me somewhere between incompetent and dumb rather than just flat out stupid.

Agreed.

I have tried lvl 16 quite a few times and I still can't figure it out. I hope this is one of those levels that "Just when you think you've mastered 3D Logic's rule set you'll be confronted by a cube that demands a new level of strategic thinking". I'm not well known for developing new levels of strategic thinking

So, I wrote my previous post, looked at lvl 16 again, and figured it out... go go looking at it with fresh eyes

edit:
ZOMG! I spoke too freaking soon. I thought I had it, I gloated about it, and the cube must have changed, because I didn't actually have it. Bah! Back to the drawing board.

edit2:
3rd time's the charm. I actually did finish it and move on to level 17, so it's not a lie like the first time, and I have been adequately humbled.

What an addictive little game.

I got to Level 19 before giving up. I would have stuck with it a bit longer (it had me stumped for 10+ minutes), but I quitting time is here and I'm sliding down that dinosaur tail ala Fred Flintstone.

There is only 30 levels. Now I am bored again. Good find though!

Bah. I'm stuck on level freakin 16.

I think that's where I got stuck when I first played it, too.

Nevermind. I just figured it out. Don't you hate when that happens?

I only got about ten minutes on level 16 before I had to go pick up my rugrats from daycare. Will have to give it another try after they go to bed tonight. Hopefully a second look will do for me what's done for you guys.

EDIT: Okay, after an extended go at it, I was finally able to pass 16. Yay!

Completed all 30 levels. Out of all of them, level 17 had me stumped the longest. It's funny because I passed some levels after LVL 17 on the first try. This was a good find.

Not sure if this is any different at all, but here's what I got addicted to a way's back. A little number called Hyperframe:

Excuse me, but what does this have anything to do with Halo 3? In other words, why is it being discussed today?

Add me to the 'lvl 16 broke mah brain' list

Good game. I've played something like this before though I'm not sure if it's exactly the same game. Still a lot of fun.

I stopped at level 27 last night just because I wanted to have time to watch a movie before hitting the sack. (Stranger Than Fiction; turned out to be really enjoyable.) Tonight I plan to go back and finish those last six puzzles. So far I think level 16 was the one that gave me the biggest headache. Level 21 took me a while too.

17, 18 and 23 for me, but I started at 23 again tonight and after that the last 6 were relatively easy.

Fun game, and I echo the comment that I have played either this or something very like it before.

Edit: I just looked at Hyper Cube (7inchsplit linked it), and I think that's the one I've seen.

17 definitely messed me up for a while. On 22 now.

Honestly, it's the Big O-like plinking in the background that's got me hooked as much as the puzzle.

This game rocks! The only problem is that there are only 30 puzzles! I want more!

I'm starving because 19 keeps eating my lunch.
