Orphan Black = good watch

Bummer we have to pay for season 2, so, uh, I won't be watching that anytime soon.

Still, pleasantly surprised by the show.

+1

My roommate got Orphan Black season 2 from the Library for free. You could always try that.

My wife and I have been watching Family Tree. It's a Christopher Guest joint starring Chris O'Dowd.

It's really good.

What in the heck is a library?

I've been watching the Superman cartoon from the late 90s again. Still not as good as the Batman one from a couple years earlier, but it has its moments.

The two episode batman crossover is so good. The Mxyzptlk episode is probably the best, though.

It was three, and also collected as a movie of sorts. There's at least one more a little further down, "Knight Time".

I like the Lobo ones as well.

Yeah there's some pretty good voice actors in this. Brad Garrett as Lobo. Malcolm McDowell as Metallo.

Oh god, I hated the Lobo episodes.

It's a museum for media.

They were probably just over your head.

He is no Drax, that's for sure.

Wow. Maybe the Fire phone didn't do as well as they thought it would.

Considering the price on contract just dropped to 99 cents, you're most likely right. Can't say I'm surprised at all.

Woot! Hopefully a Chromecast API will launch with it, or shortly thereafter.

Seems like a good moment to revisit this:

Ditto. Or re-watch a popcorn flick that I've already seen.

Yeah, I do the same. I watched most of season one and season two of The Killing on my Windows Phone. And to be honest, I can't remember there being anty difference in my "experience."

Woohoo!

Oh wait, not compatible with any?! of my devices?
Note 2 - Nope
Original Nexus 7 - Nope
S3 - Nope
Nvidia Shield - Nope

Really? I am sick of this. But wait, if I goto the Amazon store it is compatible with all of my devices... hmmm.

Man, if Netflix hasn't figured that sh*t out I doubt Amazon will. Cross-country licensing will be our bane until something or someone forces all the countries to burn their copyright laws and rebuild from the ashes.

Not sure when it went up exactly, but Rounders. Rounders!

Also, Layer Cake!

Daaaaamn, Transparent is really good. I'm only two episodes in. Anyone else watching it/watched it?

I am really curious about this. My daughter is heavily involved in LGBTQIA issues, running a GSA chapter at her school and volunteering in a TASH workshop with Planned Parenthood, and trans issues are pretty much at her forefront right now. I saw this, but I was worried that as a 30 minute comedy, we might not find the humor appropriate, and didn't want to suggest it until I knew more. It does look really interesting.
