August 11 - 17th

Section:

Test one two, test. Is this thing on? Good. Hello everyone, we've moved over to the new server last night and hopefully everything is resolving properly for you. If you can see the main page at work but not at home (or vice versa) don't worry about it too much, give it a day and everything should be back to normal! Looks like we've got some winners coming out this week on the gaming front. Some sports for the ass slappers among us and a little RPG magic for PC gamers.

The BIG Games

Madden 2004
Platform: PS2, Xbox, GC, GBA, Playstation
Ships: August 11th
Price: $49.99 ($29 for Playstation and GBA)

The Buzz: It's Madden, same game it's always been with some improvements sprinkled throughout.

Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution
Platform: PS2
Ships: August 12th
Price: $19.99

The Buzz: A remix of Virtua Fighter 4 that adds two new characters, more special moves, a quest mode and better graphics all for the low low price of $19.99! Assuming they didn't mess with what made the original version good it should be a winner for those of you who want more, more, MORE!

Lionheart: Legacy of the Crusader
Platform: PC
Ships: August 12th
Price: $44.99

The Buzz: Using Fallout's SPECIAL rule set this RPG takes place in an alternate history after the third crusade. I had issues with the hyper-speed of the game in the demo but you can see for yourself here!

Romance of the Three Kingdoms VIII
Platform: PS2
Ships: August 12
Price: $49.99

The Buzz: It's number eight in a long series of Japanese strategy games, if you don't know what it is it may not be for you. That said, this one is supposed to be easier to learn than the previous titles so now may be a good time to jump in!

Great, I'm able to connect to the site again, just not via www.gamerswithjobs.com but by ditching the www part. I'm not that internet savvy so I really don't understand what the problem is. Ah what the hell, I'm happy again

at a command prompt try typing ipconfig /flushdns

Assuming your running XP or 2000.

If your at work and have internal DNS servers....tell em to flush them caches!

Anyone think the GBA madden is/will be any good?

Yeah we're on a new server now. It's much faster and has several new improvements that made me a happy server ninja. So the IP changed, and your DNS had the old site cached. All better now!

That depends, does it come with the Team Ownership mode?
