Looney Tunes: How Cartooned Violence Affects the Childhood Psyche
Seinfeld: Look to the Cookie
I'm not particularly uninspired, for some reason, but I'm loving some of these suggestions!
I'd love to teach a class on the role of mystery and suspense in serial television, with a particular emphasis on the resolution of mystery and how it relates to viewer satisfaction, using shows like Lost, Twin Peaks, The X-Files, Battlestar Galactica, and Game of Thrones as part of the curriculum.
I can sense the tension now between OMG Spoilers and Pretending To Have Done The Homework.
Happy Hump Day everyone!
What's the funniest death scene in a movie?

Well, that question was posited - and immediately solved. See you next Wednesday everyone!
I beg to disagree, Harpo, I think Grenn posted a very convincing runner up!!!
And thank you Lou Ziffer for the totally silly, but always hilarious "fetchez la vache". Everyone knows that true franglais speakers would say "get la vache!" anyhow.

I'm going to join you in disagreeing with myself and proffer this one up :):
Maybe not the funniest, as the ones previously posted would top my list, but still..this one is amusing

DISQUALIFIED! Mustafa doesn't die in that scene. In fact, he cannot be killed. The end of the 2nd movie reveals he didn't die when he fell off the cliff either.
Oh sh*t! That's right--I forgot that he doesn't actually die. DAMN IT.
And I'll say that the Black Knight scene in Monty Python and the Holy Grail is a contender even though the Black Knight technically didn't die on screen (but, come on, it's not like he could apply a tourniquet or anything).
Karate Girl?
It's too bad you said "funniest" and not "best", because there are some marvelous death scenes in movies, but I'm having trouble thinking of ones that were funny. (Because I hate fun.)

Eh, I Got Nothing
Straight up.
Oo, I just thought of another one (since my original entry was disqualified):
Karate Girl?
Karate Girl can't even hold a torch to Italian Spiderman.
I laughed and laughed at this one.
I might have to wait till tonight to watch some of these clips. My favorite is probably Meet Joe Black. I knew nothing about the movie and started watching it on TV one day. It starts out so normal and then Brad Pitt gets hit by a van. It was one of my favorite movie watching moments ever. I laughed forever.
Movie wasn't very good unfortunately.
