I bet it's about emotions and stuff.

Spoiler:

And Turk.

Dark with a side of dark.

I think if you wait until it comes out on video you could make a double feature with "The Road" and never need to smile again.

So...I´ve read Transcendence absolutely sucks donkey balls. Anyone seen it yet? I was curious, but skeptic, and the reviews I´ve read have now made me think it really is gonna be bad. I´ll still see it, I just wanted to see Wally Pfiser´s first movie to be successful.

20% for Transcendence on Rotten Tomatoes

Well that's disappointing, it looked intriguing.

Some of the plot devices were a bit weak if you had any technology background. Still I thought it was a good movie that explores the possible benefits and downsides of sentient AI. Of course it's a typical story that's been told multiple times and anything that's not human is the bad guy. I enjoyed it quite a bit.

It's remarkable how Japanese and American fiction portray AI so differently in film.
America - Blade Runner, Terminator, Transcendence = EVIL AI
Japan - Ghost in the Shell - Cybernetics not only functional, but desirable

I believe this plot has been done several times ("The Englishman who went up a hill and came down a mountain" leaps to mind.) but I like the kind of movie so I am in.

"Inseminate him!"

The Love Punch.

I have noticed more and more movies with older stars trying to live excitedly, find more excitement etc. I assume this is because of the aging of the baby boomers and their desire to see this kind of thing.

I completely forgot about this movie but apparently it's coming out this year!

This looks absolutely amazing:

Gee I bet this ends well.

2006 Me is pretty stoked for that. He was less familiar with what "screenplay by Frank Miller" portended.

hehe I get excited from that because it means it's pretty much lifted straight from the comics.

Red brand trailer for A Million Ways to Die in the West.

Yeah, I'm gonna see that with my brother and roommate I think. That looks like a good flick.

So we are suposed to feel bad for the apes?

Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day

I laughed more than I have with the last 10 "adult" comedy trailers.

TV spot for Edge of Tomorrow. Lots of stuff explodes!

Another happy go lucky look at a future world.

(SNOWPIERCE TRAILER)

Is it me, or is the premise of this movie just too dumb? I mean, the metaphor is quite obvious; social structure, now horizontally compartmentalized for your convenience! But on a train? really?

How are we supposed to relate (and therefore care) for characters that find themselves in a situation too different from our own (living on a train) or too abstract (seriously, living on a f*cking, train)?

On the other hand, John Hurt, which is always a delight to see perform.

I thought this was already released last year?

Might be the US release.

Another TV spot for Edge of Tomorrow (especially around 1:07). The more I see the more I am interested.

Definitely in. Looks fun.

Anything with Emily Blunt gets my movie ticket. I love her. She gets me.

Tom Cruise is starting to look too old for this type of movie, in my opinion.

Inception's Broooooooom really ruins every trailer out there...except Inception, so kuddos to Nolan, shame for everyone else. Come up with something new.

Another trailer for Lucy. The movie where for some wildly unrealistic reason a person can kick everyone's ass in cool ways.
