Weapons Druids Can Use

Can anyone pint me to a good referrence for this?

Thanks in advance.

Page 78 in T3h Manual. That is,

Common Weapons: Staves, Unarmed, One-Handed Maces or Daggers.

Advanced Weapons: Daggers, Fist Weapons or Spears.

Druids are a lot of fun. Kinda of a Fighter/Magic User hybird with some healing thrown in.

Oh and this is Swamp-""I don''t need no steeken manual, that''s what the boards are for""-Yankee that were talking about.

Swampy, I think you should get trained in unarmed and then lose all your weapons. More room to haul loot in your backpack.

Hey, I''m a busy man. Manuals are for people without friends to ask.

Did I give you any guff? Nope. Just cited it. I''m right there with ya buddy.

I am pretty sure Druids can use 2-handed maces.

Indeed. According to Thottbot, the weapons you can pay to train in are Daggers, Fist Weapons, One-Handed Maces, and Two-Handed Maces.

Spears aren''t in the game any more, and Druids cannot use their replacement, Polearms.

Never refer to a manual for a MMORPG

hm... unarmed might be kinda cool...

I know, that''s why I called you guys friends!

Unlike Mr. snoooty-pants who makes fun of me <sniff>

Fighting the monks in the Scarlet Monastery made me want a monk class...bad.

Monks and High Elves.

I dont think Druids can train 2 handed maces. I can double check. I know we can train one handed maces though.

Oh, how much more I would love my druid if she could wield polearms!

I wish Magicltrevor could whip out a sawed off shottie for some ""wet work"" when the mana ran low. Man, that''d be hella-cool.

Druids can indeed train 2-handed maces. My best friend is a 32 Druid and used a 2-handed mace between 25 and 29.

You can. I was actually looking at it this morning because i couldn''t remember, but somewhere along the line I used one because my 2 handed mace skill was 56.

Yeah but you can''t dual wield with it. Only one fist type weapon is allowed.

Yeah that is one thing I wish WoW would change with Druids. They should be able to dual wield fist weapons.

Any examples of cool fist weapons?

Shields would help too. I dont think it would be too overpowering.

eh? no...egads I hope they dont do that..

Druids are fine... they have two combat forms that are situational and work well.

At least theres some historical evidence that Shamans should get dual weilding claws ala WC3

But not Druids.

Though..Shamans dont need them..they are fine they way they are.

At level 45, I''m now highly disappointed about the cat dps. I went feral build since level 30 and it has been great for solo pve and leveling. Before being 40+, I can chain pull 2-3 npc, then change out to heal, then right back into cat to pull the next set off 2-3. Each time I change out i would still have pretty much full mana, depending if i needed to buff up or not. Now I have to change out to heal right after each npc fight. This sucks since the energy bar starts at 20 again when you change to cat and I use way more mana to just kill for questing purposes. It seems like the npc have more hp and more ac, but the cat dps stays the same as it was in the 30s. The dps is still higher than bear form, but the bear takes way less damage.

I''m going to re-spec to balance or restoration soon. Btw, I finally got my mount at level 43 the other day. Thanks GG for the guidance.

I hear thats the biggest issue with druid is the cat dps.
I wonder why they don''t add a dire cat or something at 50, seems like a no brainer and
it would help bridge the gap.

make sure that you sink 30pts into restoration so you can grab ennervate. OMG it''s been a life saver at times! 400% mana regen and 100% regen through casting, lasts for 20 seconds, cooldown of 6 mins. Awesome for those boss fights where your priest runs out of mana.
