Pro Wrestling Catch-all

My favorite part of wrestling each week probably are the Raw and NXT recaps on the website With Leather. Funny funny stuff and pretty smart about the business. I don't always agree with his view points, but he makes them well.

And man, all those NXT guys dominated Raw.

Super looking forward to Zayn vs Cesaro the sequel. Two of my favorites since Zayn wore a mask and Cesaro had hair.

I really enjoyed the Cesaro Orton match tonight. Also the Fatal Fourway and the 4 man tag team match.

I'll have to check out With Leather.

I had a feeling the Cesaro match would be on Smackdown. I haven't been watching that since I got back into it but I'll give Friday's episode a look.

Cesaro? Really?

I'm not gonna lie, if I watch Raw anymore, he's always part of the stuff I fast-forward through. Some matches sell the "sport" really well, but none of his I've seen in the past few months. Anytime I've seen him wrestle, I usually speed up the fast-forward. There's bad acting, and then there's Cesaro.

Say what you will about Cesaro, normally I can't stand him/Jack Swagger, but the match between Cesaro and Orton was more entertaining then the one between Orton and Cena.

I don't care so much for the Real Americans but I like Cesaro. I watched that Orton match from Smackdown over lunch. One of the best matches leading up to Elimination Chamber second only to Bryan v. Orton.

I've never really watched wrestling, but I usually watch the royal rumble on YouTube. Usually worth at least a laugh.

I have been sorely tempted to go see a show live just to get the experience.

I agree. The one with Dolph Ziegler was a joke, the one with Cena was boring. With how much Bryan can get the crowd riled up, and how much of a show he can actually put on, they really should make him the face of WWE. Orton is just so overated anymore. He needs to be toned down, he is just such a characature anymore.

As much crap as he rightfully gets, when Cena tries in the ring he's really good. That match with Cesaro was even better than the Cesaro/Orton match from Friday.

I like looking at a future of main events involving talented power guys like Cesaro, Reigns, Big E, Sheamus and even Wyatt. Big bruisers that can work.

Oh yeah. Totally agree about the Cena/Cesaro match. Cena's a big boy and that Cesaro superplexed him off the apron was insane. I know Cesaro won't win the title on Sunday but I wonder if they'll give him a similar push like they've been doing with Reigns where at Survivor Series and Royal Rumble he eliminated everyone. Speaking of Reigns, I'm most excited for the Shield/Wyatt match. And judging by the crowd at the end of RAW, I'm not alone in this.

Couldn't agree more. That six man is going to be off the charts awesome.

So excited! 3 hours and 15 minutes till doors open for Elination Chamber!

Sweeeeet, dude! Have fun! Can't wait to hear your reaction as an attendee.

Looking forward to the least well received 'Mania main event since Orton/HHH.

If they're so insistent on having Orton and Batista be the main event, they should make it a fatal four way with Lesnar and Bryan and give the title to Bryan.

It was awesome! Though a couple of the matches, I just didn't care about. When they did the half hour internet preshow, they had the Rhodes brothers against Kurtis Axel/Rybeck, which was so amazing! That should have been during the ppv rather than the Diva's snooze fest match or the Titus/Darren match. My absolute favorite of the whole night was the Wyatt's vs the Shield, so so awesome! The main event was very predictable in my opinion.

So is anyone here signing up for the WWE Network?

I might, but I'm gonna wait until I hear how well it works.

Well, I signed up for the free week, and so far, it looks awesome. They have the *entire* ECW, WCW and WWF/WWE back catalogues available to watch. No hitches in the stream and the quality is pretty good. (Well, given that I am watching the very first ECW PPV, Barely Legal 1997, the quality is pretty good.)

I signed up as well. I think it'd be a killer value just for the PPVs, getting all the backlog stuff as well just makes it even better.

So I watched Barely Legal 1997, and the quality of the stream was pretty good. Only stuttered once or twice, but it happened about the time that new shows were starting on the WWE Network. The RAW Backstage Pass is also really good quality, with no stutters or anything.

My buddy that got it yesterday says it is awesome. He is watching all the old WCW PPVs.

Watched Raw last night. The Divas match with Emma and the chick that hangs out with Fandango(forgot her name) is probably the most entertaining Divas match I have ever seen, though the intro song for Emma(is it the same for Santino?) just grates on my nerves kinda like chalk on a chalkboard.

That's the same music she has from NXT. It really doesn't work for RAW.

I really don't know what's going on with Batista. They're openly acknowledging that no one is excited about the match but not doing anything about it.

Over 20 years later, it's pretty clear that Undertaker is my Hogan. Real American hits at the opening of RAW and my reaction is meh. But that church bell rings and I'm a little kid again.

That one woman that hung out with the Hardy guys was our wrestling circle's favorite pre-diva diva. I forgot her name.

Lita.

Yah, that was awesome seeing Undertaker last night.

The stabbing with the pen was great. 2nd favorite moment of the night. First was that lift Cesaro did on Big E. I haven't shouted that loudly in response to something in pro wrestling in a long time but I couldn't help but exclaim, "Holy sh*t!" Rollins appearing from out of nowhere to sprint through the ring and divie onto the Wyatts was third.

I missed the first hour as I was watching Almost Human with my wife, but yah, the Rollins part was awesome. Dean Ambrose though, I don't get it, he's acting oddly lately. At Elimination Chamber, I saw him go into the crowd with the Wyatts(it was across the arena from me), saw the Wyatts come back out, but didn't see what happened to him and it looked like there was security guards where they had been that looked focused in one area.

They didn't show what happened. My assumption was that he'd been Sister Abigail'd or something like that in the back and was lying unconscious. Though I guess they could have shown that if that were the case. Rather they made a point out of it last night so maybe it's going to be part of the story now.

I love Ambrose. He's nuts so saying he's acting oddly is kinda par for course. As many great moments as there were in the Shield/Wyatts match at Elimination Chamber, this was one of my favorite:

Such a little brother move.

Dean Ambrose is the absolute best.

I hated the Sheild for the longest time, the last several weeks I have actually started to like Roman Rains/Seth Rollings. Dean Ambrose, not so much.
