Hawaii gets back on track, beating Texas Tech 41-25. Tough game.
With that, we're ready to roll. Everyone shows green.
Over-rated!
I feel like I had had a ton of Idle Weeks.
Duke beats VT. My offense was rolling and the defense kept getting turnovers 4 picks and a fumble. Was able to keep VT under 40 yards rushing for the day. My QB did get injured early in the 3rd hopefully it isn't to bad.
Wow. We're ready to roll with Maryland's victory!
Duke beats GT 21-14. The score looks closer then the game actually was. As all GT did was run options all game and kill the clock.
Hawaii beats Baylor, 39-17. However, the score was 19-17 most of the way through the 4th quarter. I scored 3 TDs in the last 2 minutes or so, one on a pick-6 as Baylor desperately tried to get back into it.
The game started as well as it could for Hawaii, with a 67-yard TD on the QB option keeper on the first play from scrimmage. I added another TD and a safety before the end of the first quarter. Somehow my defense was keeping Baylor in check (Seastrunk is crazy good).
However, my starting QB went down with an injury at the end of the first quarter and his backup was...not quite there. Still, I managed a win even though I gave up 188 yards of rushing. My team depended on the run, rushing for 316 with QB Higgins injured through most of the game.
Kansas rolls over West Virginia, and are bowl eligible!. Now to move up some slots in the polls...
Terps are done!
Hey, so any ideas why the other league's site isn't producing the weekly summary posts?
Point taken.
=============== #9 Hawai'i Warriors (8-1) ===============In recruiting news, the following Hawai'i targets have announced their decisions:
- (*****) QB Seth Harris has committed to Hawai'i
By the way, Seth Harris is a 5* ATH with 89 speed and comparable throwing power and accuracy numbers. Fear Hawaii next season!
(Still, I'm pretty embarrassed that one of my recruits chose Old Dominion...)
Duke wins big. I ran up the score on purpose as my friend's kid is over and he likes to yell touchdown and then do a dance.
Hawaii beats Colorado, 52-24, but it was a pain in the neck to do. Hawaii scored 39 of its points in the second half, 21 in the fourth quarter.
I didn't have a lead until midway through the 3rd quarter. Not coincidentally that was just after I first made them punt the ball. Their HB was tearing me up, until my defense put him on the sidelines for 4 weeks. His injury was the turning point in the game. It allowed my defense to force them into long distances to gain for a first, and their QB responded by making mistakes and turning over the ball.
Phew...
I know he quit one of the league do to being to busy so maybe he is not able to schedule games?
Golden...? You around?
Bye week? NOOOOOOoooooooo!
I somehow got a 5 star QB and he isn't even on my recruiting board
Was he an ATH?
Maybe
