Creepy spider!

I'm sorry, LiquidMantis, but I just can't be associated with pure unadulterated evil. I'm going to have to ask you to leave.

Daddy Long legs are not spiders, though they are members of the arachnid family.

A 1mm baby jumping spider of unknown species.

The original source has some other nice pictures of peacock spiders.

I call foul.

That is the most adorable spider I've ever seen.

Not creepy.

Imagine it in your ear.

Aw that's so cute!

Well, it might be cute, but it would eat you. If, well, it were a little larger.

edit: that's a great picture, groan.

Thanks!
I have more but I don't want to hog the thread...

Well, we're not drowning in traffic, you could probably post one every couple days.

Maybe not quite as cute, but I took this one at PenCon 2012:

Where is the one BEHIND HER!?!?

It puts the tea in the cups, or it gets the web again.

Where is the one BEHIND HER!?!?

It's the one with the teapot, in a very clever costume.

Little Miss Muffet... YOU'VE CHANGED!

Most of those are quite pretty, but the last one can die in all of the fires.

That would probably mean there would need to be a lot more of those.

Be careful what you wish for.

That's the one that freaked me out too!

The last two, I say.

I'm trying to figure out where it's burrow is...Very cool colors.

I wonder if My wife would let me have a tarantula. My guess is no. Maybe a bearded dragon but not a tarantula.

Inside the victim's skull...

Awesome.
I'd totally get something like that on my shoulder, upper chest, calf, back-of-upper-arm (these are "ors" not "ands").
Somewhere that it might be seen, but NOT on the side of my neck. Good on her for doing it.

Yeah, she's going to get her neck slapped on occasion.

That's pretty cool looking, but for her entire professional career, if she has one, she'll be known as the Spider Lady.

Might be okay, but ...

My first thought, too.
