Don't you know they always say "don't spend it all in one place"?? ;)

Steam funds go quickly. I've loaded my wallet with 50, used it mostly in gifts. Loaded 100, went nuts and bought Rocksmith and some dlc, and gifts. Now, I'm thinking of reloading again. It's a sickness.

I don't get the Rocksmith pricing wise. As a game, sure. But buying songs that expensive each? And besides the expensive game (even on sale), you need to buy hardware....so, what's the draw and how do people explain away the high costs attached?

I voted for it.

Hence why I bought at half off games. I have the hardware already. If you enjoy playing guitar or want to learn, it's pretty awesome. Music is like sex, playing by yourself is all fine and dandy, but a group is much better.

Or something like that.

Say I would buy it all for my two daughters. With they be able to play together? They have their own iMac.

I didn't realize how overpriced virtual pinball tables were. :p

So is How To Survive ($5 - Flash) like a poor man's State of Decay?

Would I be better off waiting for SoD (lol) to drop in price?

Thanks to Falchion for How to survive !

Well, they'd have to have their own guitars and cable. Other than that, I do believe multiplayer is still in the new version. It was in the older one. It's pretty neat actually. Playing different parts of the same song and all.

Thanks to Dethroned for the World of Goo!

I vote for games I think are great and would like to share with others, that's pretty much my only guideline. Except for this vote, I'm curious about Shelter, and 2€25 is fairly cheap.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!

Celebrating by blowing out the rest of my free codes for anyone interested!

King's Bounty: The Legend
Dead Space
Medal of Honor
War of the Roses: Kingmaker
Eets Munchies
Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter
Edna & Harvey: Harvey's New Eyes
Bunch Of Heroes
Worms Blast
Dwarfs!?
Zeno Clash
Little Inferno
Jack Lumber

PM me!

[updated to remove claimed codes]

Many thanks to Fuzzmaster for Supreme Commander and Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance. More RTS games, YAY! And, he even threw in The Guild 2 and Red Faction: Armageddon. Thanks!!!

Also, I broke down and bought Shadowrun returns. This sale is killing my budget. I may wait to play it until the 'save anywhere' patch comes out.

Come on Sherlock!

But... where else would you spend a Steam gift card?

It's entirely playable in its current state. Just set aside 20-30 minutes for each chapter.

No, no, no, you're thinking about this all wrong.

Place number 1: Flash sales - front page
Place number 2: Deals under $5 tab
Place number 3: Your wishlist
Place number 4: someone else's wishlist
Place number 5...

You get the idea

Merry Xmas buddy, not as deep as DF, but at the pace it's moving along development I think it'll catch up eventually to some features I find myself missing (Oddly, I miss fey moods and dorf-family simulation)

Cool, thanks. I figure that it's turn based anyway, so I can just leave it up and running if I need to step away before I get to a save point.

Is it just me or does a lot of the steam reviews look like they were written by marketing guru's?

You know if Assassin's Creed doesn't go on a daily sale this winter I'll be really disappointed.

Gone Home, Papers Please, or Wolf Among Us? Sophie's Choice was nothing.

Wolf Among Us Season Pass is $10.04 on XBLA today only.

Thanks to Checkm_8 for OUTLAST. From what I've seen and from what I've heard. It is a really scary game. So I can't wait to play it at 8am in a well lit room without sound.

To be honest, I haven't paid them much attention. I'll review a couple, and read the ones people on my friends list wrote, but that's basically it.

Big thank you to Abu5217 for the gift of Shelter! I'd just finished my Brigmore Witches play session and was about to check the community vote before I went off to bed, and bam! He beat me to it! Thanks a bunch, and yes, my Christmas is much improved since this morning!!! A sleep-deprived Eleima makes for a cranky Eleima.

Edit: Also, Steam is super laggy, must be the "new community vote" spike. I seem to have Clever id and Gravity to thank as well, the extraneous copies shall be redistributed for goodjerdom!

Well, Wolf Among Us was on sale yesterday or the day before. Can't remember how deep the price cut was, however.
I'm hesitating, but I think I'll go with Gone Home.

I updated the voting spreadsheet.

How is Brigmore Witches? Compared to the base campaign or Knife of Dunwall?

The Brigmore Witches is as good as vanilla Dishonored, and sometimes better.
