WoW Uber Interface

Alot of people were asking for this so here it is. I take no credit for this as all I did was mixed and matched the top three mods (cosmos, gypsy, ct) to make them all work together. Anyone can do it it just takes a little time.

Click.

Just install into your main WoW directory since the Interface folder is in the zip. This will not change any key bindings you might have. WoW stores these locally in the WTF dir.

BACK UP your interface directory before doing anything with this. It won't damage anything but its good to make a backup in case you don't like it and of course not all machines are alike so your mileage may vary.

The only issue with this so far has been getting that little red error box when you first start the game. All you have to do is close it and it will not come back until next time you relog. Takes like 1 second. Feel free to write down the error and look for it in one of the XML files if your feeling saucy. Other than that I have had no other problems in over 20 hours of playtime.

Thanks a lot I''ll be giving this a try later

Out of curiosity, what do Gypsy and CT do that Cosmos doesn''t?

Just wondering if this is worth my effort. I''m pretty happy with my Cosmos the way it is.

Well while I like my cosmos, I''d like to have the bars on the sides of the screen put into a long bar on either side.

I''ve been thinking more and more about getting into the modding of this.

I LOVE certain parts of Cosmos. But all I really want are the extra buttons CT Mod gives me, the quest mision and the clock part of Cosmos. Everything else just gets too cluttered.

Ditto, but the main problem I always have it I could be playing the game instead.

I think that''s a wish list worth saying ""harumph"" to.

Harumph.

Which is exactly why I haven''t bothered. I''ll cope with clutter by turning off features I don''t use.

I tried installing your zip, optimistic, but had a BUNCH of problems last night. So, I just started from scratch. Basically, from reading the forums, I installed Gypsy, then Cosmos into a separate folder, then delete PopNUI in the Cosmos folder. Then, I moved the cosmos files into the interface directory, and had to choose between GotMooBuffMod, and the Gypsy BuffMod (I like the Gypsy one a bit better). Now, everything seems to work fine.

Also, I put up the Popbar, and oriented it vertically underneath my minimap... so, instead of 6 bars on the left and 6 on the right, I have a 3 x 12 section of slots (having them hidden if I''m not using them, of course.) I think that should last me quite awhile.

I might install CTMod as well, but I don''t think there''s anything it has that''s crucial and that I can''t get with Cosmos and Gypsy.

Things I want from the UI Mod I use.
Show me how long my buffs will last and what they do.
Give me two sidebars like Cosmos.
MapNotes
Clear up the ungodly amount of clutter being in a group causes! Name, HP, Mana, that''s IT! No portrait!
QuestMinion is nice.

I hate the popbar, personally, and only use the sidebars for ""extra"" stuff. Potions, professions, non-critical skills/spells. So, basically, WoW is pretty good, if a bit cluttered. A couple minor things I want, but maybe I just don''t know what I''m missing.
