It's in Scotland

And if there isn't an Equus Oils there, someone missed their chance...

I drive right by these on my way to work every day (the motorway is just behind them in the bottom view). It's been fun watching the construction over time.

Now I has a sad.

It's sad, and I feel more than a little guilty for giggling when I think it looks like it's written in icing.

That's the vast majority of our machines at work.

I just saw The Big Lebowski for the first time tonight. (Yeah, yeah, point and laugh, I'll wait.) It was strange, funny, had terrific performances, plus a very clever take on the whole Raymond Chandler detective subgenre, among (many!) others. And I now finally understand Jeff-66's avatar and tag!

That is amazing. And makes me feel like I'm not trying hard enough as a parent.

If that makes you feel bad, wait'll you see this. Why weren't you doing these, when you were running on two hours of sleep in a house that looked like a bomb exploded? As much as I'm amazed by the parents who are able to do this... I also want to punch them in the face. Well maybe that's cos mine would never sleep without being held for hours when she was an infant.

CANNOT THIS THIS ENOUGH.

Those parents have an amazing willingness to destroy their own property in a way my parents never would have had.

I feel for you man. We only have a few holdouts, most of which are just people or classrooms that have been overlooked. We do have a few places where they have a semi-legitimate reason for still using XP. Like the Bursar Office where they are too cheap to upgrade to the newest version of QuickBooks so they have to use Windows XP to run their copy of QuickBooks 98!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, that just makes me hate those parents for their time and creativity.

Windows 7 can have an XP machine built right into it if you want. Toss QB 98 (ugh) on there, then just put a shortcut on your regular desktop and you don't even have to see XP, it'll appear as if it were running in 7 natively.
