Uncanny!!
In all seriousness, very cute!! But what has me really impressed is how you managed to train him for housework at such a young age!! :D

Never underestimate the effectiveness of strategically placed electrodes.

Super awesome shot P.

The boy got his first model kit today. He did most of the snapping together and I did the stickers. Sisters each got a Sally and built theirs as well, though I wasn't able to get a group photo.

My mother-in law got her this costume and she wore it to a kids party my wife co-hosted. A friend of ours has a small studio.

For halloween she will be going out as a puppy.

Wow, she's so cute Bonnonon (nice photos, too)! In the future, she should watch out for those eggplant wizards!

Maybe that's why I didn't finish any video games from mid-June until mid-September?

Me in my magicka robe and my daughter as a puppy. I carried the newspaper around so we would have matching costumes.

Super cute =)

So, I had my first super emotional "Holy sh*t I helped make a living thing" moment yesterday. And really, it was just over something simple. The past week we figured out that Malcolm can sit up and stay sitting up for awhile. He still hasn't figured out exactly how to sit up by himself yet--he basically props himself up on one arm and can't quite figure out how to push himself all the way up. Anyway, I came home yesterday to find him and my wife sitting on the floor playing with some plastic brick things. I just sort of watched him pick up a brick, try to eat it, then put the brick down and search around in the bucket of bricks for a different shape. Then it just sort of hit me--he's comprehending that there are more bricks inside the bucket and he knows to look in there. Then he grabbed a new brick, put that thing in his mouth, looked up and smiled at me.

....what?

Yeah, so after six months I've gone from thinking this kid was basically just a nonstop poop/puke factory who cried to an actual person I can (on a rudimentary level) interact with and he'll understand. O.O

Hehehe... You're just getting started, CptDomano, you're gonna love what's to come, I'll bet!!
Also, he looks freakin' adorable in that costume,

No pics, but... my five year old was playing with my 20 month old's Duplo. Little brother kept wanting to just grab pieces and throw them around the room. After the first time, I told him "No. No throwing." and took him away for a minute, much to his annoyance. When I let him back near the Duplo, he immediately threw them around the room again. So I removed him again, told him no. After I minute I let him go back, told him "no throwing" and showed him how to put bricks on the structure, move things around etc. I was fully expecting the throwing to start instantaneously, but, nope, he just sat there and placed bricks on top of the structure and moved bits around, making little noises. His older brother even showed him what he could do and helped him with the creative play. It even lasted for a full 5 minutes or more! Which is like hours in toddler time.

NB. I fully expect this to be a rare occurrence

That's one classy baby!

Yeah, little things like that will start hitting you at random =)

Wait until he starts playing pretend! It's nuts.

(we have the same bucket o' shapes btw)

It's fun when you see them get something for the first time. My 17-month-old daughter somehow figured out which button on the remote is for watching TV. She also has super long monkey arms and can reach places we don't think she can reach. Thus she has been playing quietly in the living room and suddenly the TV comes on. We look over to see her with the remote in her lap and her hands behind her head, chillaxin and watching MLP:FIM. There's so much more, but it's the funny or terrible things that stick with you most.

We had a DC/Marvel crossover Halloween. I had to go dig out Dark Knight Returns to show Hannah what color Robin's hair should be... Mom had the can of orange hair color ready.

She loves to draw with it.

Fastmav347, that is one HELL of a great smile.

My daughter turned seven this past Saturday. I had one of those "oh my God she can do what at this age?" moments a week ago, when I went to see her at the school-sponsored horseback riding lessons for the first time. The teacher was holding onto the rope, while the horse went faster than a walk, and my daughter held both arms out to the side. And I realized...crap, I probably can't do that...

And here's the posed shot:

Two tough guys on a mission. Hudson is three months old and already twenty pounds. My back is killing me.

Twenty pounds? Good God, what are you feeding him?

The still beating heart of his enemies, obvs.

I'm more interested in that wiremesh cage you've got in the background. Let out early on good behaviour?

Well, he *is* dressed like a tiger.
