NFL 2013: Week 9

Meeting up with my Redskins fan friend today at a sports bar to watch some games. He's bringing me a Laron Landry Redskins jersey. I would expect much hilarity to ensue, but not sure anyone will realize he's actually played for two other teams since being a Redskin.

That's unreal.

It is almost as if it is within their interests to get these sorts of things right

Alex finally makes a throw and... how do you drop that? And then a lame screen.

McCluster's drop was horrid. He was thinking TD, I'm sure.

Wow. 55 yard FG by the Saints.

All 6 early games within 7 points now and 5 of 6 are in the 4th quarter.

The Chiefs have to be super thankful for their defense making turnovers because they can't seem to stop the run.

I think that might have been a catch for the Bills. Their fans are having aneurysms.

Panthers!

And go Jets! Carolina needs some help to catch the Saints.

Come on Dallas... 30 sec left, you can still blow it.

Lol how the f*ck is Ponder a NFL qb. Even I can throw it that far.

Looks like OT for SD-Was. 3 downs from the 1/2 yard and Chargers couldn't score.

Drew Brees tried throwing the ball like Brandon Weeden on that last play.

Tampa Bay up 21-0. In Seattle. What?

This Seattle/Tampa game is about as hilarious as the Jets/Saints game.

WTF is going on? I run to the grocery to skip the first halves of the late games and Tampa is up 21-0 AT Seattle?!!!

I mean... go Bucs... cause the 49ers appreciate the help. But holy sh*t.

Now 21-7. I still expect a loss.

Nah, Tampa's got this. Seattle is broken. They've lost 1 or 2 more lineman today.

71 yard punt return from Golden Tate... Seattle fans fired up. Tampa's about to blow another one.

Wow. Even with replay they can't get it right. Ball clearly bounces out of his hands on that side angle. Baffling call in favor of Seattle.

Nick Foles!

I guess rumors of the demise of the Eagles offense have been greatly overstated.

Either that, or Nick Foles trick-or-treated this year as Peyton Manning and he's still wearing the costume. Dude has SEVEN TD passes so far today.

Hopefully we cut from the Eagles/Raiders game to the Seahawks soon. Oakland's dead, Jim.

Fifteen minutes left to set the NFL record.

Football is dumb today. But in a funny way.

Also didn't expect the Steelers, down by 14 at two different points, to make a game of it with the Patriots. I know the Pats aren't what they have been, but the Steelers have been pretty terrible this year.

So were the Seahawks just trolling Greg Shciano the whole time?

Seattle tied it up. Expected, but no one has explained to me how they got so fat behind.

Didn't Glennon have it if he hadn't zagged?

On a normal day I would say Tampa Bay is still hosed but today... it seems like just about anything can happen today. Mike Glennon putting together a game winning drive to win this would be just the thing to cap all the afternoon and evening games off.

*lol. Nevermind. At least not in regular time. Come on universe. I just wanted one more football related chuckle.

Nick Foles has 7 TDs and just 6 incompletions.

The 0-7 Buccaneers have been outscored by 49 points on the season. The 5-4 Jets have been outscored by 62.

Stats are fun.
