NFL 2013: Week 7

Blatantly stolen from Twitter - "The Vikings sex cruise was better for their public perception than that game."

Seriously, even the SportsCenter anchors didn't even fake pretending that that was a watchable game in any way.

That was a game of football the Giants won. That is all that I, as a Giants fan, will say about that game.

Josh Freeman overthrew his receivers on 16 pass attempts in his Vikings debut, the most overthrown passes by any quarterback in a game since the start of the 2006 season. Freeman has overthrown the highest percentage of passes in the NFL this season.

I love this gif. I laughed when I saw this while watching the game.

Then I saw this:

Gif of the year stuff right there.

I just don't get (A) why he threw it so much and (B) why he threw it short so much; if the Giants are stacking nine in the box on every down, why not run some play-action bombs? Those are the passes Freeman throws best anyways (Simpson dropped one in the end zone). If you want to clear things out, throw the ball deep. Baaaaaaad game.

What was the final stat on knockdowns? I'm pretty sure I watched him get up off the ground more times than he completed a pass.

I believe 14 knockdown, 1 sack

I'm ashamed to say I watched part of that "game." (The quotes are intentional. It was terrible.)

First, the Giants didn't play 9 in the box against AP. They played 26. He had absolutely nowhere to run.

Second, the Giants dared Freeman to throw -- shallow, mid, deep. Didn't matter. Freeman couldn't hit anything last night. Just about anything close got dropped.

Sad thing is, I can't tell if Freeman's problems were because he got signed, like, 12 hours before the game, or if he's just that bad.

I will say I recognized that version of Josh Freeman from last night; it was overly-excited Josh Freeman, where he just flings the holy hell out of the ball and it sails. So throw it deep, let the WR try to catch up to it. Let Corderelle Patterson show off his speed. Even if it's not completed, throw that ball regularly at least as an attempt to clear out the line of scrimmage.

Also, I would love to be in the meeting room today to watch Sharrif Floyd try to explain why he thought it was a good idea to actually return a kickoff. That was probably the singly worst play of the night. I mean, if I wanted to filter through all the bad plays, that might be the worst.

Well, that would explain that. I just had the game on in the background so I was confused when I looked at the box score and saw a fumble from a DT.

Hey, just wondering if I missed the dozen posts by the fanbase police about the Jets fan who punched a woman.

Ah, f*ck it, let's keep talking about what Houston fans wrote on a message board and their other non-violent activities. THAT'S the sh*t that really gives a city a bad name*, you know?

*only a moron would think one felon doing some random felon crap somehow represents NYC, btw.

Well, Fed, everyone knows Jets fans are stupid because they're Jets fans.

Haughty Bucs D-Coordinator Invites Fans To Help Gameplan; Fans Oblige

Is it when a farce like this gets rolling they just get more ridiculous or the media just gets better at picking them apart?

Took Carolina -6.5 and the 40 over.

Please just nuke One Buc Place from orbit and get it over with.

Can we evacuate Vincent Jackson first?

I totes just pictured Vincent Jackson being shot out of Shiano's ass. Why that pic? Due to the etymology of evacuate.

And I'm bored and have a f-ed up mind. Would love someone to mock that up though.

Browns to start Jason Campbell in WEEK 8.
