Tuesday Night WoW Plans

Just want to apologize for my not really having my head in the game last night... I ran with the group all the way to Silverpine with my pet, only to find that I didn''t HAVE a pet anymore. It seemed happy, but I guess wasn''t happy ENOUGH, and left... so yeah, I tried to play with just my arrows and axe, but it didn''t FEEL right. So then I tried going back towards the Undercity to pick up a new pet, and died like 4 times (stupid, Stupid Argual, or whatever your name is...). So, I finally found a Worg to tame, but by the time I got back, it had been like an hour and a half, and I couldn''t get back into the swing of the group.

But, I got some bags (thanks!) and my pet (even though I like the Durotar Tiger a lot better and will probably switch back) so I''ll be ready for next Tuesday!

strekos, were you using a two-handed weapon by any chance?

I played a warrior up to lvl 22 in the OB. I pretty much solo-ed up to 20 so I''m not sure how effective warriors are as tanks on the lower levels. Once I started grouping more to do elite quest, I carried two sets of weapons depending on my role. When solo-ing/pvp-ing/dueling, I had my two handed bastardsword that did 22+ dps with critical hit talents. But in a group situation where I was the tank (I tanked Deathmines), I use a mace/shield combination. The mace has a quick attack speed so that I can get more hits in and gain rage fast. The shield also increased my AC tremendously. No problems holding aggro and tanking in that situation with the defensive stance.

That''s good to hear, probably most of my concerns will be alleviated as I level. Interestingly, I had a better time last night holding aggro once I switched to my slow 2h sword vs. the 1h sword/shield combo I started with. I think I just wasn''t doing enough damage with the 1 hander... maybe need to get over to the AH in Orgrimmar and get the best 1h I can equip.
