Video Game Deals Catch-All

The 20% off from Toys r us also works for GTA 5

Is Albion a standalone? I thought it was an addon.

Steam has Pinball FX2 and all tables for 66% off, comes out to only ONE DOLLAR per table :o. I downloaded the demo yesterday and was surprised how well it played on my old laptop. You get one free table to play indefinitely, and can try all the tables for free for about 2 minutes. It also works well with my 360 controller. The sale runs till 1pm (eastern time) tomorrow. Now I'm just hoping that Pinball Arcade will be coming out soon on Steam.

From what I've seen. X3: TC has the best tutorial. Easiest to get into. I heard Albion Prelude was more confusing. Never played AP but got into X3 TC. Great game.

After putting a lot of time into both, TC is the one I'd recommend as an entry point to the series.

It is an addon. The bundle deal includes either both TC and AP or neither, so it's a moot point for that, though.

Aarrr! There be a pirate sale and no one talk about it?

We be in space, in point and clickety, we be good and bad! You decide!

Arr! Space Pirates (and Zombies) be in yonder sale. Buy it, mateys!

Why do I want to buy sid meier's pirates? I own that, I've beat that completely. Yet I still want a steam version...

Hmm, need to install on my Yoga laptop and see if it works with the Win 8 touch screen like the Windows Store version does. It works halfway decent when I want to game and didn't bring a controller or mouse with me, but I haven't bought any tables yet in the Windows Store

They Steam page doesn't mention it, so I bet it doesn't.

I've been wanting to check out Port Royale 3 for a while now. Anyone know if it's similar to Tropico? Or maybe a bit different like Omerta(those are the only kalypso games I've played)?

I'm in the same boat (harr harr). I know I will be unable to resist adding it to the cart, especially if/once State of Decay shows up on Steam today.

Port Royal is similar to Patrician. It's a trading business game.

Patrician steam version would be the one to get. The patrician expension is meh, and Port Royal 2 is the better one...

It's not Tropico like at all.

Simple, because it's Pirates!

Insane.

Green man gaming has a 30% on some random indie games, including Shelter
http://blog.playfire.com/2013/09/ind...

and a 25% off almost everything else for the weekend with GMG25-J4B0D-FLH8M
http://blog.playfire.com/2013/09/sav...
Which I believe can also cover NFS:MW 2012 for $8

And Indie Gala has all of Magica and all of King Arthur for < $6.50, or just get Magicka for $1

Me, too. I passed up the recent $12, but can't pass up $8.

I guess this means I can play as Xcom guys in Civ now.

I haven't even touched Civ 5 or Gods and Kings.. but I'll grab it for that price.

It's a sicknes.. I know

I played one game of G&K and one of the scenarios. Haven't really touched it since, but $8 will get me to play another game.

It's funny.. I've actually been tossing around the idea of starting up Civ 5 lately.. maybe this will be the impetus.

I jumped on BNW for Civ5 at that price. Thanks OP; I appreciate the deal.

I knew that was coming.

$3.99 for Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 on Steam today. Great game, still holds up well.

Absolutely recommend that one! I just sunk 20'ish hours into it this month. Huge bang for your buck right there.

Indie Royal has their 50th bundle up, the Golden Jubilee Bundle.

Never heard of any of the games on there, but I got an email from them saying they were giving the bundle away to everyone who has ever subscribed to them. They sent me two codes for the bundle.

Indie Royale wrote:

The Golden Jubilee Bundle is out! This is our 50th original bundle and we want to take this opportunity to thank our fans for their fantastic support.

We are giving everyone who is subscribed to this email 2 absolutely free keys for The Golden Jubilee Bundle including the bonus album. These 2 keys are worth $10 and give you games and music worth over $50 when bought separately.

So I have at least one bundle code to give away to a good home. Two if I decide against adding more to my own pile. Let me know.

Cool, thanks for the heads up. I'm giving my older kid his own Steam account for his 13th birthday, and this will make a great game to seed the account with.
