NFL Elimination League 2013- Sign up and Discussion Thread

We're doing pretty well this season. Much better than last year.

Looks like 4 people got knocked out this week by not picking?

After looking through my pre-planned picks, I picked against the Browns a lot. Old habits die hard.

I did it. I picked the Vikings.

I did it. I picked the Vikings.

Really Browns? really? They won? oh well week 3 defeat for me then.

You and Bill Bonney, justinbot, solidarity, and iaintgonopants.

If Seattle somehow lost today it would only be Jayhawker and I left alive. But that's probably not going to happen.

It's not as if Minnesota is a good team, so that game was hardly a lock.

Sure didn't expect them to lose to the Browns minus Richardson though.

I'm guessing the rest picked Denver over Oakland.

I assumed that Brandon Weeden was starting because he was more competent than Hoyer and Campbell. I don't know if I was wrong.

Dammit.

I second-guessed myself and changed my picks from the start of the year. Had the Redskins today against Oakland but was getting worried about their poor performance so far. Changed my pick and blew it.

Whoa I didn't see the Falcons losing to the Jets. Falcons was my initial pick until I went with "whoever is playing the Jaguars"

Looks like there's 7 of us left. Seems like the lock pick of the week is Den vs Jax

Yup, picking the team the Jags play seems the smartest move right now. Reeeeeally don't think they'll beat Denver, but I already used Denver. Doh!

Yeah me too, guess I'll go with whoever is playing the giants.

Yup, whoever is playing the Giants sounds like a good strategy moving forward.

Five of us left?

This is the week where I think it gets dicey -- at least for me, where all the obvious picks are not an option because I've already picked those teams.

Coincidentally, it's also down to 5 in my other suicide pool.

Oh man, totally missed the single elimination thing. I was playing thinking it was best record at the end of the year; hence saving my Denver, Cincy, GB, SF, KC picks. Still, I'm going to continue through to see how well I do. Glad I got that Giants pick out of the way this week.

I can't believe how bad Atlanta is this year. Very surprised they let me down, oh well.

Down to 4 of us. While my fantasy team was happy that Larry Fitzgerald was able to work against ATL I'm surprised how far the Falcons have fallen.

I had them down for legit superbowl contenders going into this year. Julio Jones, Roddy White, and Tony G were supposed to be one hell of a receiving core. Not to mention Steven Jackson gut punching up the middle.

White has been hobbled, Jones on IR. Ryan throwing INTs.

So you are the one to blame. I wondered why the Giants started winning games. Damn you Garion!!!!! I wanted a better draft pick for them!!!!!!

Well, I thought I had my pick in but I guess I didn't. I already used Packers and Bears so I'll be eliminated this week.

Dallas and Seattle both made this week interesting. But looks like it's down to me and garion...?

Muahahahaha!

I chose the Titans, so please don't choose them.

!!!

Uh, so, will it auto push things to next week?

We both lost? Yeah, next week then.

Tiebreaker next week! Titans aren't the same team without Locker.

Same thing happend in my other pool - all five of us still alive picked TEN. On to next week!
