NCAA 14 - XBOX360 - GWJ League -Season 3, Conference Title Week - Next roll by 6/10/14

Nice! This game can feel so good in those close games.

Only concern I have so far is the lack of cpu rushing. They run the ball just not very well.

Nice win Bill! And I too noticed that we all have pretty stout run defenses :p

I'll make a tweak to that when we roll.

Anybody have any other slider tweak suggestions?

Just don't go too far...

Has the league rolled? I have been at Horror Hound Weekend in Indy this past weekend. Just need to know if I'm holding everyone up?

Nah, you're not holding us up. We're all ready to roll when Leroyog gets a chance. It's been a busy week or two....opening weeks of college football and the NFL? That's a bit distracting.

Kush, did you get your recruiting done? It says you aren't ready.

Booooo!!!!

WooHoo. I got the highest rated recruit on my board!

Oh. He's a 1* JUCO (Jr.) fullback.

But, still, he's rated 78!

Too bad I'll only have him for two years.

You are a regular Charlie Weis.

Ouch.

To be fair, I have as many wins with my current team as Charlie has had with his!

Hawaii beats up on Fresno St., 49-14. I had my way with them on the ground. My starter (who is filling in for an injured speedy HB) is a power runner who just ran some people over. I took a redshirt off a freshman to be his backup, and he's gonna' be good.

All told, my running game was cranked up, and I dominated the time of possession, 24:00 to 8:00. That kept them from running very many plays and made them abandon the running game early on (so I didn't get to test the new sliders much!).

I might need to adjust it a wee bit more....

Wyoming gets whupped on by some school. It was sad

Their QB broke way too many tackles though. Even with my conservative tackling which is supposed to give you a boost.

Just two more games to go.

I will play tonight. Worst case, my wife works both tonight and tomorrow, but I want to try to get my game in before the deadline. I am back from vacation, though I am going to Pittsburgh this weekend to visit my brother-in-law.

NIU wins a close one at Purdue. I like the adjusted sliders. AI got some rushing yards against me. Game is playing real good now.

Looks like we're ready to roll!

Huh...looks like we all won our games with the exception of our exceptional commissioner!

This is what you like to see! Hawaii momentarily has the #2 ranked recruiting class. No, if only I could find some linebackers...

I want to have a look into your recruiting methods!

Leroyog wrote:

Leroy needs to pass his tagline to firesloth... just sayin.

Fortunately for everyone, I am waiting until my fantasy baseball money league is over to purchase GTA-V. With that said, I will be playing tonight, since I am leaving for Pittsburgh tomorrow

Hawaii gets a shut-out over San Jose State, 41-0, playing my second stringers in the 4th quarter. SJSU (1-4 now) is, quite frankly, not very good.

This game was interesting if only because my starting HB went down to injury early in the 1st quarter. He is actually my second stringer, as my lead HB is still out for several more weeks after being injured against USC. Unfortunately, my 3rd and 4th string runners are wicked slow.

I got so frustrated that I eventually subbed a WR in as HB. And he was good! Once I got used to using him, his YPC went up enough that he finished averaging 4.6 yards per carry on 13 carries. He didn't run inside well, but he was very good on toss, stretch, and counter plays. He also had 4 catches out of the backfield for 42 yards!

On the other side of the ball, my defense held SJSU to 152 total yards while shutting them out. Good times!

Pot, kettle.

We only have two more games to get in this week, including yours. Making good progress!

Gentlemen, I find that I am not able to give 100% to the league, so unfortunately, I am going to leave the league.I will eventually be back, but at this time, I don't feel I can give the effort to at least compete and get my games in on a regular basis.

Sorry to see you go, Kush.

See you around...maybe back here soon.

Sorry to see you go Kush.
