Video Game Deals Catch-All

Anybody that bought the Humble Bundle know if Trine 2 has a separate key for the DLC, or is it all in one key? Didn't realize there was even DLC for that.

The incorporated the DLC into the main game a couple months back. People who bought the main game before that happened, could pay $5 to "Upgrade", but you cannot buy the main game separately any more.

I looked at Rogue Legacy's site to see if they followed the practice of a lot of indies and put their game on sale through their site with a matching price through Humble that gives you a Steam key + a DRM free version. Unfortunately, they didn't.

I don't know about sales, but at full price (absolutely worth it) I got a key and a DRM-free version.

Right, but a lot of devs (Gunpoint guys, FTL guys, etc) have synced their site sales with Steam sales. They get a bigger cut, and you get a Steam key plus a DRM download via the Humble site. Was just curious if they were doing it. I sometimes like the DRM free download for my daughter on my old PC.

Xbox 360 (actually Windows version) wired USB controller is 24.99 with free shipping at Newegg if you use this code: EMCXLWT58

In my opinion, these are by far the BEST controllers you can use in Steam.

This weekend on Steam: Rogue Legacy, Activision daily deals and Tomb Raider.

Two questions: are any of the Tomb Raider DLC worth getting for expanding the single player missions? Or is it all game unlockables, multiplayer stuff and other stuff I don't care about?
I've been looking at Rogue Legacy for a while. Is this a worthwhile buy at this price?

The Tomb Raider DLC is multiplayer only. So you know, it's something everyone should have cause everyone's playing Tomb Raider multiplayer.

Yes, but will they ship to Dantooine?

It's not shipping to Canada, so no Dantooine.

Need someone to forward out of the country for you two?

That's super kind of you, but I got one for myself for Christmas. For 60€, bleh, but that's what you get for living half a world universe away. ^_^ Been super great for playing Mark of the Ninja, Bastion, Shatter and most recently Super Meat Boy. I've never had a console, but this controller is pretty great.

There's exactly one SP DLC with actual content: Tomb of the Unknown Adventurer. It adds one optional tomb in the second area of the Coastal Forest. I picked it up last night for $0.75, and I'm glad I waited for a sale -- it's nice enough, but I think it took me about 15 minutes tops to play through. I also think it's designed to be played through fairly early, when you have fewer tools available to you. I played it after completing the game 100%, and I think I solved some of the puzzles before actually figuring out what they were. Still, it's scenic, and 75 cents is about the right price for it.

EDIT: There are other single-player DLCs, but they're all either new skins for Lara or early unlocks for various skills you'd earn anyway in the course of the game. Pretty much pointless unless you're looking to play dress-up. (And if I want to play dress-up, I'm going to fire up Dawn of War 2 instead.)

Part of me is really eager to get Rogue Legacy, especially since it's the first time I've seen it on sale. Still, must not jump on bandwagon just to jump on bandwagon...

Thanks for the offer. I wanted that 12$ code for Brave New World, but it's over. Next time, I'll remind your offer

At full price Rogue Legacy its a steal for the amount of time you can sink in this game. In my top 3 game of the year(for ME).
Get it at 40%, in the Steam Sale it went only to 25% only 1 day.... so at 40% its a no brainer..

Kerbal Space Program is again at 40% on Steam deal of the Day.... someone around to push me to make the jump to the mun??

It's got a helluva learning curve, but it's also very satisfying. I played it with some help a few months ago and had a great time.

It's quite the story generator, as well.

You know, I've yet to launch anything into orbit even but it's fun as hell to build rockets and launch them.

Rainbow Six: Vegas is now free for XBL Gold subscribers. We are done with five and six year old games I guess so we are moving on to seven.

I know it's not in the best taste to complain about free things, but I haven't bothered to even queue up any of these since Fable during E3. If this was meant to be an answer for PS+, they should've studied harder.

Couldn't agree more. PS+ recently added Assassin's Creed 3 (for PAL regions)

I know. this is a total joke. They couldn't even give us Vegas 2??

The G930 for $90 is a pretty nice deal. It's only at that price a few times per year.

That's the one I'm seriously tempted by. I've got a Plantronics Gamecom 780 right now (bought at PAX East last year), but wound up with a free G510 keyboard from the Logitech booth, so I'm already running the Logitech configuration stuff. The wireless looks sweet, especially after running over my cable a few times.

It's not exactly a video game deal but CoolStuffInc has the Bioshock Infinite: Seige of Columbia board game on sale for $45 today...
