ShinyLoot has Children of the Nile: Complete for $2 - I always heard good things, not sure how well it would hold up though. Steam Key.

They also have a bunch of other games on sale, most of which I've never heard of :-)

Nile holds up surprisingly well, actually. At $2 it is definitely worth picking up if you like city builders.

"$2" + "City Builder" + "holds up surprisingly well" + "Steam" = "Why am I still reading this thread?"

Bought it. Thanks for the heads-up.

It's fantastic. But fair warning: it kinda broke my brain at several points.

FTFY. And yes, it's fantastic... and still on my "I really need to go back and finish that" list.

It's definitely high up on my "To Play" list. Plus, it was gifted to me, so it's really high on the "to play" list (gifts get priority). But yeah, I'm expecting a fair amount of head scratching and brain breaking. ^_^

New Humble Bundle is up! Anyone who hasn't played Mark of the Ninja needs to get it now!!!

Includes:
Trine 2 Complete
Mark of the Ninja
Eets Munchies
Brutal Legend

Beat the Average for:
FTL
Fez

All games are available on Windows, Mac, and Linux.

Wow FTL finally on linux? I already own nearly all of these on Steam but I might have to dive in just for that...

Brutal Legend huh, might just have to pick that up.

I hear it's not so good.

Saggy tag bag hag.

FTL has had a Linux version for a very long time. Maybe the beginning. If you have the Steam version, you should be able to simply run the Linux version of Steam and install it that way.

Wow you are totally right. I swear I've looked for it before and never saw anything, and lo and behold I bought it in a past humble sale and I already have a linux download link. I've never felt so stupid and awesome at the same time, thanks!

Ooh - Mark of the Ninja on Mac? Well, it's not showing up as SteamPlay, but even if it's not available there it appears to be available for direct download, so I'll take it.

That being the case, I've now got a key for FTL for the first non-grinder to PM me.

Edit: Even though Mark of the Ninja doesn't show up as a SteamPlay game in the store, it shows up as a Mac game in my library and I can install it.

The first two keys I tried (Eets Munchies and FEZ) acted like DLC, saying they'd become available when I unlocked the full game. Anyone else have that problem? The rest of the keys, I'll give away.

And now they're showing up after 10 minutes. Weird.

Keys available for anyone higher than a coffee grinder:

Trine 2 Complete
Mark of the Ninja
FTL

No interest in anything but FTL and Fez, and I already have FTL. Ok, sorta curious about Mark of the Ninja, but it's a stealth game so I should know better....

MotN is awesome. You want key? I give key.

Brutal Legend is awesome, and if you try to tell me differently I WILL STRAIGHT UP PUNCH YOU IN THE FACE. Or, you know, respectfully disagree.

It's not exactly like a lot of stealth games. It's pretty forgiving in a lot of ways, and you can get out of trouble in many instances. If you blow it, you never lose much progress, either.

That is known as tempered metal. \m/

I had that problem, but I shut down Steam and started it back up again and they were in my library.

Another great Humble Bundle that I was powerless to resist, since I've been meaning to get Mark of the Ninja and Fez for a while now (have already played and enjoyed FTL and Brutal Legend). The pile of games is growing at a disturbing rate. Just need more time to play them.

Can they please put out a bundle that includes a chunk of extra time as one of the components? I'd pay top dollar for that!!

Yup, popped up without restarting after about 10 minutes.

Still have FTL left.

And there's a box saying more coming. My guess is the other Shank games and the rest of the DF catalog since most of those have been featured in past bundles.

Yup. I went ahead and popped on the bundle even though I already have all the games I'm interested in just for the bonus games. I have a feeling that if the base bundle is this much awesome, the rest will be as well.

pulled the trigger on the bundle and gifted out the ones I already have. This seems like it's a pretty good bundle. And I didn't have the soundtrack for either FTL or Fez so that's worth the price of the bundle right there.

/fingers crossed for Don't Starve

I so want to buy this bundle, but I already have a majority of the games AND their soundtracks from previous bundles :/

So did I. Thankfully, they're all separate Steam keys for gifting goodness. Speaking of which, still have FTL. Just sayin'.

I already have all the games except Eetz Munchies and Fez. I was even interested in Eetz until I saw it was Klei and checked out the video. Even if it turned out not to be great, kind of hard to argue with $5 for Fez. I'll just gift the other keys.

Same here I think. Not sure if I should buy and gift (I already gifted FTL and Mark of the Ninja to people in the summer sale) or just hope someone tosses me a spare Fez.

I still haven't got rid of all my extra games from the EA bundle a while back either. Think I still have a Battlefield 3 or something.

How good is Fez? It's the only one I'm missing and I'm curious about it.
