If you want an invite send a PM in game to any member or leave a post here with your toon name so we can look for you when we are on. Currently we are unable to add to firends list of invite to linkshell to anyone offline so combined with the server cap issues it may take a little bit to get everyone connected. until then be patient, everything will work out.
A linkshell is a means of communication in FFXIV. Its like a glorified chat channel. We decided to do it this way to allow people to join active Free Companies (guilds) at their leisure and still have the GWJ connection. A commonly allied guild in other MMOs with GWJ (Grievance) is also on this server. Many GWJ members played in that guild in neverwinter and other MMO's

That's me, Reia Tayuun . I didn't realize that I should have kept my lower level armor to avoid being stuck nearly naked after taking on my second class but that will fix itself soon.
Awesome, dont forget any of us can invite. I have found the easiest way to to make them a friend and then its easy.
I'll be creating a new toon on Midgard, once this 1GB update is complete. (Shiva willing)

I'm trying to make a new character on Midgardsormr but it's restricted again. I hope it's just temporary.
The restrictions on creation tend to just be until some people move out of the very starting area, this will also be greatly improved once they get the afk-timer/boot in place. The login issues have been improved enough that I'm not sure why there are still so many afkers but there they are.

Yeah, it'll get better. I'm still seeing a lot of AFKers. There's tons of folks out there who are still gun shy and probably don't even read threads or Lodestone notes to know that things have even be fixed. They'll catch on soon enough.
I'm getting in whenever I try now. Kudos to SE for getting it straightened out fairly quickly.

The two Rs in the last name are important since I actually made two... couldn't decide between Arcanist, Thaumaturge and Archer
