Farming Simulator 2013 $9.51 (66% off) - Steam's Weekend Sale.

I can already hear laughter from the back row, but the game is 100% legit, if not a bit janky.

(Obligatory Farming Simulator Dubstep YouTube link - NSFW language.)

Ehhhh, guess I'm finally enabled on this one.

I just really hope it supports my TrackIR and G27 when driving farm equipment.

Is the newegg deal for civ v brave new world over?

Is it a box or a code? And would it sell to a person outside of the us ? And what was the link?

Steam have Cities XL at 66% off right now. I've hovered over this for a good while, but at the same time have put next to no research into it. After the other game that shall not be named, how is this as a city builder? Do you start from an empty plot of land, or do you just have to make an existing city 'work'? I realise one of those question could be answered by me going and looking, but the other, I'm aiming for the collective awesome-knowledge-ness of the GWJ massive.

Oh, it's a sandbox with some of the social features of the game that shall not be named. Mostly it's economic and utility stuff and that's about it. The plus side is that the maps can get pretty large.

The down side of the game is that it's easy, a bit too easy, and that the game tends to chug in the late game as it doesn't take advantage of multi core processors. It's an old engine that still looks good but has been patched up by a new company and released as a new version.

All that said if you want a city builder closer to SC4 but not as good then this is your best bet. Also, curved roads.

Steam has Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes on sale for 66% off, $13.60.

I remember this coming up during the Summer Sale and almost bought it but there wasn't a lot of feedback. Anyone out there get a chance to play it since then?

Oh, duh

I have no idea. You're welcome

Thanks. In that case I may just not bother. There's plenty else on the pile to be looked at... let alone add to it. Now, about that Fallen Enchantr.... STOP IT!

I'll miss you giant dinosaur thread. But like nature, this thread will find a way.

Find a way toooooo....? Spawn new, more vile, memes?

Make me spend more money than I need to?

EDIT: Also, I came here to make an old king, new king joke and if that was already done, a Who joke, but you guys beat me to the punch.

Let's get this party started.

Metro Last Light: $20 (60% off) on steam

Mark of the Ninja: $3.49 (75% off) at amazon

4 hrs remaining on the Humble paradox bundle. Minimum $1 for 6 games, $5.80 to get Crusader Kings II + Magicka (expires: 2PM, EDT)

It took me more than halfway through the first page before it dawned on me that this thread is new. HAIL NEW VIDEO GAME DEALS THREAD!

Still has that new thread smell too.

It's the best of that series by far. Characters are still ugly as hell, but it plays like a Master of Magic game. I recommend it for fans of the genre, but if you aren't going to play it right now then keep waiting.

Hello, new game deal thread.

Woohoo!!! This is my chance! My chance to not post in this thread and thus not feel compelled to click on XY new and avoid temptation!!! I'm free!!!!!!!!

Oh wait...

Is it weird that I don't know a single game in the Weekly Humble Bundle? Like Bonus, I need to know... any good?

Amazon has Sniper Elite V2 and most (all?) of its DLC for $10.29. Reasonably sure it's Steam codes.

Steam account required for game activation and installation.

Yep.

I just finished that game up on 360, and I thought it was great. Was a fun co-op experience if you can find a buddy, and has a couple cool cooperative modes.

Greenmangaming has a bunch of Packs up to 75% off. Sadly, I can't find a definitive list on their site, but isthereanydeal.com shows them pretty well.

Like chloroform, as it makes off with our wallets.

Tech Woot has deals today on Razer products. Gaming mice, game pads, and keyboards.

There's an Game Packs sale listing on their blog. Just a reminder, nearly all GMG games sales are Steam codes.

Yep, got an email linking to the list, guess isthereanydeal just beat them to it.

But always double check. Unless it's a $1 game or something, I have quit buying anything that uses their Capsule system.

Nintendo has permanently dropped the price of Super Mario Galaxy 2, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, and Wii Sports Resort to $30 each. First-party Nintendo stuff doesn't drop in price often.

Oh man, if I had some money laying around, I'd love to try the Razer Naga Hex they were talking about on the show. Gotta worry about finding money to fix up the computer itself, first.

About time. Nintendo's strategy of keeping games at $50 in perpetuity is pretty tiresome. I know they're trying to say "this game is worth $50 when it comes out and will always be worth $50 because it's worth that much." What I tend to say is "your game is not worth $50 to me, but would be worth $25. Either I will live without your game, or I will pay someone else $25 to get it, and either way you get $0."

On the other hand, they're still selling those games at a decent clip at $50 a pop. Over 500K each so far in 2013, which isn't bad for full-price games three years after their release. I wouldn't have dropped the price on them yet, either.

I don't care about that, I care about MEEEEEEE! Ironically, I think I only paid about $30 for Mario Galaxy 2 on release day due to some kind of Best Buy shenanigans.

Another World is $2.49
