Favorite Class in WoW?

Being a "class jumper" ie moving from class to class because they are all a blast to play - I thought I would ask what is everyone's favorite class and why?

I am currently a big fan of the NE Warrior... and Human Mage...

Dwarven Hunter. Those guns are just fun. Makes me think of the riflemen from Warcraft.

Undead Warlock. I came in to the game knowing I wanted to play Undead, but expecting to play a Priest, as I''m almost always a healer. But I tried Warlock on a whim and totally fell in love with the class.

[edit: spelign]

Either a Warlock or Rogue. Awesome both...

I am going to start both a rogue and a warlock shortly - I really like the options and playstyle available - I havent played a rogue, but I played a warlock during beta although they hadnt implemented many of the abilities the warlock class has now.

I love my priest for grouping and my rogue for soloing. I still need to figure out how the rogue fits into a group.

Major DPS.

Yep sneak in and get behind and wallop the bad guy :)...

SpyNavy, are you sitll doing EQ2, and if so how on Earth are you playing both? Gaming Viagra? If so where do I get some?

I''ve only played a gnome mage so far, but I really like it. I also think the professions add a nice dimension, I''m enjoying tailoring. I can make all kinds of stuff people can actually use, giving bags away left and right to guildmates, cool stuff for me.

He''s a Naval Officer working at the Pentagon. which means they play games there all day long of course! Makes you real comfortable sleeping at night doesn''t it?

Strangely, yes. I vote on the pro-gamer ticket.

I like the shaman, myself. Played one as my main in the open beta, and he''s the only toon I''ve rolled so far. It''s an excellent solo class, and I''m betting they make good additions to groups as well.

During beta I figured I would play with a warlock to entertain myself. I wanted to sample the classes that I was going to play in retail( Mainly a NE hunter) , but I did not want to get them too high level. So I figured I would dabble with a Warlock.

As it turns out I really, treally like the class, so when I got the retial version I rolled up a Warlock right away.

I''ve got a human Paladin(which is really cool so far) and a Troll Shaman, which I really like.
I went with these in part because they are the unique classes for each faction.

I''d really like to try an alliance Druid, but am avoiding NightElf until the newbie zones clear out a bit. I tried Warrior in beta, and am impressed that it was actually fun to play. The undead newbie area has fun and interesting quests and storylines, and the warlock is a great soloer there, but it''s too dark and dreary and all the models are uuuuuuugly.

I''d guess that my favorite character is the Troll Shaman, and my favorite newbie area is a tie between Troll and Tauren.

Favorite non-xp activity is definitely fishing.

It''s all about the Paladin, and my secondary is a Druid, and I''m really liking him as well. I''m almost 16, which means I get my new form (aquatic) even though that''s the LEAST useful of the forms. But still, I feel like a transformer.

I have played a couple characters ... human mage was great, warrior was ok, my druid is my current character (he''s up to lvl 14 right now) and having a great time with him. He''s decent as soloing, but I spend most of my time grouping with my guild (Sorry, not you guys ... blackhand has been nothing but trouble). Oh ya, and I look badass in bear-form (haha)

Loving my dwarven priest; I always enjoy cleric-types, but what''s great is just how versatile the priest class in this game is!

I haven''t got the game yet, but I''ve been looking forward to playing a Tuaren shaman.

When I played in the Beta I really liked the Dwarven Hunter combination. Something about shooting creatures with a big midget with a gun is very satisfactory. However, after playing the beta I realized that I hate Gnomes very much. They are like small Dwarves. Dwarves are short enough but they have big beards and muscles to compensate; a Gnome is a short Dwarf and lacks any facial hair (except for the early 1900''s styles) or muscles.

My Rogue I have been playing is sheer madness fun in the damage dept and the Warrior is great for the ""oh bring more you bastids"" lovin'' and I am really looking hard at the Human Warlock as a good fun alternate...

I''m really liking the Tauren Warrior class right now. My bovine warrior woman kicks butt like nobody''s business. I also have a NE Hunter set up but haven''t taken him out for a spin yet. After seeing some of the trolls in-game, I might acuallly shelve him for awhile and try out a Troll Hunter.

Those of you who have read my comments know that I am a big fan of all the classes. The Paladin is a great class. The only thing wrong I can see is lack of a pulling spell. In beta, the rogue was the most pleasant surprise, but id have to say in release, the Paladin has taken over that role.

The Rogue is great and dont forget in groups, with gouge, you can also do limited crowd control as it is a 4 second stun.

The Warlock is terrific and I have yet to even take a look at the support skills the class offers. Soulshards can be made into res stones, health potions and fire damage weapon buffs.

The Druid happens to be the most socially friendly class around. Most people would think its the Priest based on past MMO experience. However, with thorns, rejuvinations, Mark of the Wild, and Moonfire, oh and shapeshifting too, you have many tools to help random strangers just for kicks. I think I cast thorns on just about everyone I see when Im traveling or hunting.

The Priest is a great class as well. There are a lot of situational tactics for using the Power Word Shield spell. I have a lot of fun casting it on people that are trying to run away when they get over their head.

The hunter is a lot of fun. I wish there was a close range bow skill. If this class gets jumped and in cramped dungeons, they are much less effective. Having different pets is the bomb.

My Troll shaman was a lot of fun and versatile. However, I found that the Troll zone around level 6 got unnecessarily hard and complicated.

I havent played mage since beta, but they had a lot more versatility than I had expected. That was also before I had even gotten their crowd control spells and major AoE nukes.

Blizzard did a really bang up job wiht the classes. Im not sure whether they did me a favor or not by making it so hard to pick and stick with one class or even one race with a particular class. There are so many variables... 50 characters total you say? Ill get there easily =)

You know, I have a tendency to try out many characters in every game I play anyway, but with WoW it''s even worse because of this reason exactly!

Yeah I can easily see me having at least one character of each class - I tend to get up to lvl 10 and switch - I think that is going to be my goal -get to 10 on one - get another one - switthc take it to 15 and so on... By the way you can mail things to your own characters (same side, ie alliance or horde etc...) which I have done - so you can actually swap useable items between classes... I am getting ready to make a character specifically to make bags since they are such a pain in the butt at times to find... My forst character left the newbie area with 3 and my others havent found one yet - so I mailed it to them - it is especially nice if you keep characters failry close in lvl - I mailed my rogue a nice dagger that my warrior found - quite handy... same with money...

Spy, I''ve been making bags for pretty much anyone in the guild that wants them, if you see me on just hit me up. Can''t help on the horde side though...

I, for one, would like a bag.

Leaping whats your name on Blackhand? I will be hitting you up for a bag - I will reimburse you with linen when I collect some more...
