Most active MMO for Goodjers?

So I've been hopping from MMO to MMO trying to find the one that has the most Goodjers on it to play with. Anyone have any idea which one has the most active guild? Which MMO is the most fun to play with Goodjers on it?

Guild Wars 2 seems to be pretty active, of the ones that I pop in and out of. I would think that is THE most active.

yea currently GW2 would currently have the most active group. Still this fluctuates depending on game releases. There's generally a huge swell at launch for each high profile game and that thins out quite a bit after around 3 months. The WoW group swells after each major update and is probably the most active when that happens. The lower profile games just see a handful at most.

Also do want to point out that while it's incorrectly placed in the Games forum that the Firefall group is probably just as big and active as the GW2. It's also F2P.

Is firefall out of beta now??

Nope second stage of open beta just started.

BTW, GW2 has changed a lot since launch. Quite fun.

I liked a lot about GW2, but one thing that always annoyed me is the number of "cutesy" races in it. I hate Quaggans with a white hot hate, and the Skritt and those frog things are only slightly less annoying.

Have you seen a Quaggan go into a battle rage? Not so cute.

The answer is whatever MMO has come out most recently

you're a monster. Maybe history's greatest monster.

Definitely casting my vote for GW2!! Come join us!!!!
Aside from my lunch break when I'm usually the only one on (12pm for me is like 4am EST, 1am PST, so... yeah XD ), aside from that, there's always someone on. There's a regular NA morning crew, some WvW'ing to be had, pvE is always available and fun, and ArenaNet's been incredibly good in delivering new content on a biweekly basis (some would say it's even a bit overwhelming).
People do their best to try and help when you need it. Honestly, the GWJ crew is an awesome bunch and they're what keeps me coming back over and over.

Thankfully, you don't have to ever deal with a Quaggan if you don't want to.
You monster.

I really like GW2, (Note that I'm on Gunnar's Hold (EU) - not on the same server as the GWJ guild since I assumed I'd never be able to be online at the same time with anyone). Apart from the hateful female humanoid caster clothing, I love the art design. My lowly level 54 female Asura Warrior is trundling along nicely, though I imagine my love of longbows is not exactly optimal for my class.

Don't even get me started with the Asura. I hated gnomes in WoW as well. It's also one reason why I dislike many RPGs as well (I'm looking at you Final Fantasy series).

I'm still waiting for the MMO that doesn't bank on such things.

I dont know of any mmo that actually banks on such things. Even the FF series that has that type of thing is due more to cultural inclinations than 'banking' on them.

If you prefer, read what I said as: "An MMO that doesn't resort to infantile cutesy appeal."

I take it back. Definitely history's greatest monster.

More seriously, the only one of the GW races I'd consider remotely cutesy is the Quaggan. The Asura have big eyes and ears but the design is kind of creepy imo. Skritt are rats and heket are awesome. I spent too much time in GW1 getting my butt kicked to see them as cute.

All imo of course. And tbh i don't think you'll ever see an mmo without cutesy races, too many players like them.

Closest I've come to it is LOTRO as Hobbits, while short, are not played up as basically infantilized humans.

Rift, maybe? The elves look like emo rejects from the 80's, but I don't recall any outright "cutesy" races. It's been awhile since I played, though. I may just have forgotten.

There are, however, several non-fantasy MMO's without those cartoonishly cute elements.

Ha, you're describing all my MMO characters. I always choose a female character and whatever the least manly or sexy "joke" race is, and spec for DPS. Gnome, Hobbit, Asura. I like the idea of something that looks very unthreatening dishing out as much pain as possible.

I like to do that but make them tanks.

Well I gave up and went back to WoW for a little bit. That game has changed so much!

Awwwww........ You went over to the dark side.

Oh I have a GW2 account already and I still sometimes jump in there as well. That world feels so sterile to me for some reason though. I can't put my finger on it..

Anyone interested in EQ Next? I'm kind of on the fence on it, not being a Minecraft player and all that.

I am keenly interested in EQ Next. If it lives up to even half of the hype it'll be my favorite MMO.

I'm hooked on the ideas that EQN talk about and for the record the Minecraft side of it is part of the EQN:Landmark which is a separate game that ties into EQN.

This is the same problem I have. I tried again yesterday and I couldn't get more than an hour in. I also think unlocking all of your active abilities early really hampers the leveling process. I never get excited about hitting that next level.

There's something steril about all NCSoft games. That doesn't make them bad, per se, it just makes them hard to get into.

You should see when they try to animate the Grogs talking for the storyline quest. I can't help but laughing, it looks so bad.

GW2 has good mechanics and incredible vistas, but their world is just so.. cringeworthy.
