Borderlands 2 Catch-All

True Vault Hunter? It should scale directly to your level, but generally, you can get to 50 just doing the main story line and a fistfull of side quests. At that point, everything will scale to 50. I'd imagine that the DLC would all work roughly the same, though.

Yeah, I made it to 50 before I even reached The Warrior on my 2nd playthrough, only doing sidequests that did not give a weapon as a reward.

Anyone still playing on the 360? I have an urge to dig back into this. I have a Commando in the low 30s just starting TVHM, a Siren around 23, and a couple of low level alts.

I played through most of the game on split screen and I'm interested in playing through again in full screen glory. The game is just too pretty.

I'm still on trashie, so hit me up. I thought I would have been done with this game for good after going through all the DLC and getting all but 1 of the achievements, but damn if I don't want to keep playing to get all my characters up to 61.

I had a big break from this, but I find myself getting back into it in a big way with the DLC, along with the unfolding mechanics that come into play with an Anarchy based Ordered Chaos Mechromancer.

After playing a Cataclysm Siren, which is pretty much pure face-melty death, it's really interesting playing a character that actually requires a fair bit of thought. Managing Anarchy stacks is surprisingly intuitive after a while! It makes me wonder if I've missed any other interesting skill trees on the other characters.

Ditto here, and I just upgraded my ultra-rural internet, so I should be able to co-op. I've got a 30-ish Zero on my first playthrough to offer...

Hay! Hay! you're not allowed to get good internet before me! I don't want to be the only one! Well I am going to go play by myself some more.

So I finished the Torgue DLC the other night and then tried out the Scarlett one. Torgue is just more mission content, but I thought it was really a lot of fun because... well... of Torgue. I couldn't get into Scarlett though. The pirate theme is interesting and I like the sand boats, but there's a heck of a lot of travel between interesting locations and I quit out of disinterest an hour or so in. Maybe it would have worked better if flying around in the boat thing was more like piratey sea travel somehow.

Dragon Keep, however, is totally awesome. Tiny Tina is already my favorite character in Borderlands and the RPG theme is working really well so far. The world changes dynamically as the "players" argue about what's going on, and the music is just excellent. If you're going to get just one DLC pack, absolutely get this one.

Yeah, for me the DLC goes, from most to least badass: Tiny Tina -> Torque -> Scarlett -> Hammerlock

Scarlett was, like you said, somewhat interesting but a lot of running around and kinda predictable. Hammerlock wasn't even as funny as Scarlett, which itself wasn't THAT funny. Torque was dull missions and stupid boss fights helped along by some great humor and a relatively small world to run around in. Tiny Tina's is just awesome incarnate, with very few stupid quests or levels (though the dwarven mines were bullsh*t) and a lot of great humor.

Yes, I am just starting the TINY Tina DLC on TVHM. I have found that I can just keep playing the first small bit and there are several of the good chests, including one that you "roll" the dice to see how good the loot is. After getting to a certain point, I just log out, relog in and everything is reset including loot chests and enemies. I just hit 44 that way and have 1.3 million dollars!

I am on the 360 as well and have 4 characters sprinkled between mid 20's and low 40's

Here is the full listing for each class on the Tiny Tina DLC. I don't have it for PC so I post the entire page so my console brothers do not have to search like I have to get the codes.

Props though to FSeven for posting them all for Axton.

Downloadable Heads Yo!

Hah, fun. I stalled on BL2 for a bit, but firing it up tonight to check out the new heads has me wanting to play again. Here's a splashscreen shot of Gaige. Kind of a bummer that her face is so shadowed there.

Wow. It is the lamest thing on Earth that this game does not have cloud save!

I went to play with my brother on another PC automatically assuming that this game stores my character on some server. Much to my surprise that was not the case. It's pretty inexcusable that a game of this nature does not do that.

I had to log in romotly to my Mac that I usually play it on, find and zip the save data, E-mail it to me then put it in the windows save data directory.

Ridiculous.

It has cloud save. I play at home and at work all the time. Not sure what's going wrong.

Try going into Steam Library, right clicking on Borderlands 2, then Properties. go to the Update tab and make sure "Enable Steam Cloud synchronization" is checked.

Hmm... It's enabled on my work mac. Going to have to check my PC when I get home. Thanks.

BL2 doesn't do cloud saves between Mac and PC. It was a deliberate decision, apparently because they were worried that different upgrade schedules for each version might result in one not being able to load saves created by the other. It seems like kind of a silly idea since it isn't hard to make backwards-compatible save files, but there it is. You'd have to sync via Dropbox or something.

It definitely has cloud saves as I had to unexpectedly format my ssd and re install windows the other day. I booted up Borderlands 2 and my characters were still there thank god!

Such a shame. My Mac save files worked just fine when I brought them to my PC and then put them back on the Mac. I think Dropbox will be the best way to go.

Maya elf, ooh.

And somehow they made her look good as an elf without giving her massive cleavage and having her ass hanging out. Clearly Gearbox doesn't know how to make proper video games.

The code is only for the head. They'll fix the cleavage and ass when they release the skin for her. :p

Who the hell finds Rabids fun? Or is it just that the Rabid Stalkers are particularly annoying? Though I've not seen anything else with the Rabid tag...

Quite frankly, stalkers are annoying as hell on all difficulties if you don't have a shock weapon to keep their shields down.

Does anyone know of a list or site that shows what the best zones are for farming various enemy types? I'm trying to farm badass tokens and my google-fu is failing me so far.

edit: disregard, found it. for anyone interested, it's here. Click a location and it will tell you which enemies reside there.
