DOTA 2 Catch-all

The immortal chest contains a random immortal item. Kunkka sword, Venge Blade, Pudge Hook, Lone Druid Cauldron or Abaddon Mace. You got it for having a compendium

Thought I'd repost stream links for anybody that needs them. I am assuming each caster will do the same game for each series. Schedule is here.

Game A - Ayesee
Game B - Sheever
Game C - Tobiwan
Game D - BTS

Does the Bloodstone relic actually do anything besides sit in your inventory?

Na'Vi vs. Fnatic

Spoiler:

was a brutal first game, at least the way the casters sold it. Fnatic was smart about picking their fights and destroyed an incredibly strong Na'Vi lineup.

Both of those games were rough.

Got the pudge hook, now I'll need to learn him.

For people who wanted to see all the fantasy ratings:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...

My three teams ended up with 85.1, 97.1 and 109.7

Going by the spreadsheet, the best possible team for day 1 is:

Loda - 27.7
Era - 25.9
Dendi - 29.7
EGM - 23
Banana - 22.2

TOTAL : 128.5

Ended the day with 98.7

Loda
Zhou
Dendi
ARS-ART
Puppey

Swapped out Zhou and ARS-ART for tomorrow.

95.5 with 4 players, ugh, forgot to switch out Quantic-Goblak

Loda, XBOCT, Admiral Bulldog, and N0Tail

Went 112.9

Dendi
XBOCT
Sylar
EGM
Puppey

114.2

really annoyed that I couldn't bet on Navi after their first match yesterday. Can't bet again today, dota2lounge is flooded!

I'm at ~82 :\
Don't know why I picked Puppey, shoulda known as awesome as he is it wouldn't yield many points.

Alright, I only need 9 13 more cards. If you have any of the following available, please let me know:

mouz.pas
mouz.Black!
lgd.xiao8
lgd.sylar
lgd.dd
tl.tc
tl.korok
lgd.int.misery
dignitas.sneyking
lgd.yao
tongfu.mu
lgd.int.pajkatt
dignitas.fogged

Exciting day. Looks like if Team Liquid can take one game off IG tomorrow and alliance doesn't slip up, liquid would finish 2nd in their group (they hold the tiebreaker over orange and tongfu based on their 2-0 over tongfu. Otherwise they need to hope rattlesnake can take one game off tongfu otherwise liquid will end up in loser's.

I'm supporting Tong-Fu but I was quite upset when I watched their game against[A]. They had the upper hand so many times, but then just gave it all away. They played very very defensively. I think they should do well against Rattlesnake though.

Good games this weekend, both watching and playing.

But Christ. Welps pessimism is soul crushing. I know are draft wasn't great (partially his own fault for yolo-ing timbersaw without telling anyone), and there were failings all around. but the defeatist attitude just makes everything worse. That's the real reason I was OK with the gg-disconnect.

I will do my comprehensive want/have list for cards tonight, had a long weekend but i know I have about 10 cards that are doubles, and only need a couple to fill a couple teams. I will also be on for games after dinner.

Are you on one of the teams? I knew you did competitive stuff...

I missed the crazy start to one of the alliance - orange matches this morning.

The Na'Vi/LGD game where Dendi was Pudge was amazing. Mirana setting up the hooks with her stun arrow was...wow.

I need to shake off some rust, and continue to expand my knowledge of heroes. I made a really dumb move nuking neutral creeps in hopes of lowering their health to close to nil, but killing a minor one by accident for the benefit of Coyote. I dove a bit too hard (god do I miss playing NS). I didn't think to build items for the sake of the team and stuck to my normal build order. I'm a shame to my team.

Though I did ward okay, and much better than I have in the past. I continue to learn, I continue to enjoy playing, and I continue to learn from my mistakes. Dota, you still have my interest.

And the wards we had were very important for the successes we had.

I'd have to rewatch the match to catch the 80 mistakes of mine I noticed. After hours of watching gameplay, listening to things like Purge Casts a Pub (which has learning in mind), my strategy knowledge far outranks my ability to do the things I think

Which means I suppose it's time to stop playing bot matches to learn all the heroes. I've only got 20 left, but I learn more from playing full games (assuming it's with people who know what a ward is)

Easily the most exciting match of today for me.

Don’t drink and Dota kids.

Dotacinema has a good group of clips from some of the highs and lows of the tournaments so far. You can check them out in this playlist: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list...

Does anyone know how the one-on-one matches work? I can’t seem to find any information on how they work.
