Man, that was easy.

The guy on the right looks an awful lot like GWJ's favourite source of nipple pics, Jeff Goldblum.

Now to order a stand and pop filter for it as well.

I'm in a curry coma of the Japanese varietal.

The iTunes store's "Complete my Album" option for purchases. If you haven't seen it, it looks like if you own one or more singles from an album and go to purchase the rest of the album, they discount the price by the amount you've spent on singles already. A pleasant surprise this morning.

Oh nice!

Some lovely Goodjer gifted me a copy of Civ V last week in the Steam Sale.

Now my index finger is sore from mouse-clicking.

This I love.

Competent movers. I've never used movers, but my temporary gimpiness basically necessitated it. Couple nice young guys, efficient, and as far as I know economical.

Also, love that most all my stuff's moved out.

Trying mobile Chrome over Mobile Safari, and like it so far. This is to counter the loathe of Safari auto-reloading pages when switching back to them.

It only took me three hours and a lot of "Why the F*** are you not working?!", but I successfully set up my first turntable/home stereo system.

Awesome tabletop folks.

I'm currently in the hospital because my bowels have been rejecting food etc. at home and we're trying to get that sorted so I can go back to a normal home life. JollyBill and PlusOne were nice enough to get me (as in buy and drop off) a copy of the new Star Wars Edge of the Empire core book from FFG, because they're sweet and generous people I already game with. Just now, the dude who's the night RN for me noticed it on the bedside table and struck up a convo about tabletop gaming that lasted a good twenty.

Hospitals are the pits, but gamers rule.

Glad to hear of the good company ianunderhill. Hope the hospital visit is really brief but really effective.

Yeah, hope you feel better Ian!

Enjoying a fantastic holiday with friends and then coming home and having lots of media and shows to catch up on.

THIS!!

Only get paid on the 15th and "last day", so only 2 for me.

BUT - 10 of the 20 business days are already marked off as vacation!

The Legend of Korra. I watched the whole first season today. So short but so good.

Nice. Can't wait for the second season. Did you check that rad trailer yet?

If not, you can find it over in the Korra thread.

My love for today: I picked up 4 5" L brackets and used those to attach my computer desk to the studs in the wall. My desk no longer moves! It's freaking fantastic. I can now actually use a steering wheel for all those PC driving games I have. It's difficult to fully explain just how awesome it is.

All of you with desks that move. Spend the money and do it.

I have been lucky to be using my dad's old oak kitchen table (about 5' x 3') for my desk.
It is pretty solid, but I have never used a steering wheel with it.

I just bought a bunch of CDs from Amazon so I can finally replace my terrible 128 kbps audio files. I'd borrowed most of 'em from friends years ago, and I figured I might as well (finally) buy my own copies.

Nice! I recommend using Exact Audio Copy for ripping. It's fantastic. You can salvage scratched CD's pretty well. Rip to FLAC or Apple Lossless for lossless, CD Quality rips. You'll never have to do it again.

Do not use iTunes. It sucks.

When I heard this, I immediately thought of Portal 2. You will see what I mean at 30 seconds:
