Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter was, in many ways, the first must have game for the Xbox 360, so it seems like some kind of passing of the torch that its sequel is coming out the same week as MotorStorm, the first maybe-I-should-get-that-because-the-demo-is-the-only-thing-I-play game for people stuck with that PS3 they couldn't unload on Ebay. I'm a bit suspicious of GRAW 2, but that's because I'm suspicious of any sequel that can be slapped together less than a year after the previous version, but the original was solid enough that even if they've done nothing more than take the exact same engine and gameplay mechanics and come up with some new improbable hyper-violent international crisis for my Ghost Recon team to tackle, then that's still pretty good.
Good enough for Game of the Week, at least.
On the DVD front, it's like a black hole this week: it sucks. Peruse the suckitude here.

Make with the Worms, already!
My vote is for Worms! I need to master the ninja rope again.
How could you NOT make Worms GOTW? I mean... Holy Grenades! Flying sheep! Mad cows! Homeruns!

None of which are in this version of worms...
Way to remind me how a little less awsome this version is going to be

Whoa wait. What? What have they done to this version then, made it an exact replica of the crappy original Worms game? You mean I won't be able to relive my Worms World Party glory years on the Wii?! Damn you, gaming gods! Damn you straight to Hell!
...if a God could go to Hell.
*sigh* Nothing for me this week. I may rent the new Def Jam game. Yes, I liked Vendetta. Sue me.

Def Jam Icon looked really good. However from what I played of GRAW2 MP Demo I have to say thats GoTW material VS the stripped down worms action we're getting this week. I am definitly picking up worms, but GRAW and Icon are both rents for me.
I'm absolutely flabbergasted. How could they...
Wait, I thought that they were claiming that they weren't going to port Vice City Stories to the PS2. Crazy. Well, it's good to know something quasi-new will be available next time I get a GTA itch.

No love for Borat on DVD this week? I'll have to pick up GRAW2 in anticipation of my freshly refurbished 360 arriving Wednesday. *sighs* Oh how I missed you.

GRAW2 on the 360 and Immortal Throne for the PC.
I'll probably grab GRAW2 for the PC as well but not until GoGamer runs their madness sale.

They were claiming that. Adamantly. Which is why it's so freaking funny that they actually have.
If it's any good, I might pick it up as well - provided it's reasonably priced.

I can forgive that oversight, in fact applaud it. Slapping Tenacious D around, that I do not.
I wish you guys would stop encouraging him.

Anyone planning on getting Vice City Stories? I loved Vice City, wouldn't mind re-exploring that city over again.

You take it back! You shut your filthy pie-hole and take it back!
[edit]Oh, and it's Worms and the TQ expansion for me this week. Passing on GRAW2. Bah humbug. ;)[/edit]

Actually yes. They say its a remake of the original worms much like Worms Open Warfare is on the DS and PSP.
I'll probably pick up Def Jam: Icon, well if I see it at blockbuster I'll rent it 1st.
Cool! Please let us know if it captures the same magic as the first one.
