Steam Summer Sale 2013 - It's never really over

My wish list:

Skyrim GOTY
Dishonored
Bioshock Infinite
Tomb Raider
Far Cry 3 and Blood Dragon
Metro Last Light
Remember Me
Assassins Creed 3
Borderlands 2- will probably wait until all DLC is out though

Maybe even Crysis 2+3, but it'd have to be cheap

Maybe some indie games as well, like Van Helsing

Damn that's a long list. Will really have to hold out for some deep discounts given how huge the pile already is.

Someone needed to post this:

Thanks for stepping up, Mex!

All the GWFL games as well as the Space Quest collection!

I'm SO ready. My wallet is ready. Though there aren't many games I'm actively looking forward to, there will always be the surprises (Hello Sleeping Dogs...), the chaos as other digital retailers try to best each other, and of course the best game of all, bringing a little bit of joy to someone's day, when they get home from a hard day at work and see that little green button all lit up in their steam client..

BRING.IT.ON!

Hooray! My budget's going to a PS4 this year, so I doubt I'll participate much, but I can't wait to watch the insanity :)

Same here. Nothing over $5.00.

I hope to do what I did last time, give out a gift a day

I know this: Skyrim should drop to $15 at some point during this sale. And then my wallet will take an arrow to the knee.

I've got a few things I've got my eyes on but I don't see them dropping low enough to overcome the height of the pile.

Only to discover it is Secret of the Magic Crystals.

Same here :). Pile for all!

The main thing I am hoping for is a cheap Dishonored.

I'm looking for DishonoUred and hopefully CoH2 for under $30. We'll see.

I sincerely doubt that'll happen, but if it does, I'm in.

Assuming you mean Company of Heroes 2, it hasn't even released yet (2-3 days from now), so ... yeah, don't hold your breath.

Maybe during the winter sale it will be that cheap (50% off).

Is it that time already? I can't imagine there's anything that I don't already have. My pile is massive.

I was going to say Ill be good but I'm close to getting my 100 games badge so would be a good time to go for it.

specifically, I'd like to pick up:

Bioshock Infinite for 25 % off
Far Cry 3 50 %
Skyrim Dragonborn DLC 75 %
Space Marine 75%
Fallen Enchantress 75

And whatever casual games the Goodjer community recommends.

Exactly the above, but less since I have Far Cry and Space Marine.

Any chance Infinite will go 33% off? Any chance I won't be checking every 6-8 hours to find out?

I suppose I can lie to myself and tell myself I am only casually Steam's Female Doggo.

(ohhhhh the lying....)

Skyrim itself has already been that cheap, although not with the expansions. I got my copy in Nov 2012 for around £8.

As always, be prepared to shop around.

I took a peek at my wishlist and found nothing I'm itching to get. I've been playing/watching FTB Minecraft recently (I mainly write computercraft scripts) so I'm not really looking for anything fancy.

Maybe if Fallen Enchantress goes 75% off I might consider getting it. I'm likely to decide per game when they go on sale. I'm more in the market for less complicated short games preferably games with no graphic violence ( I have a wife and kids ).

I'm still waiting on a few Kickstarter games I backed (don't worry I won't hold my breath) .

Rocksmith DLC and friend wishlists!

My targets:

Skyrim Expansions @ 50% off
Don't Starve @ 50% off
Book of Unwritten Tales @ 66% off
Assassins Creed II @ 66% off

Also perhaps Fez, Democracy II, Silent Hunter III and who the heck else knows.

For those thinking about Legendary Heroes or Fallen Enchantress, don't bother. Frankly, these games are mediocre and you'd do better playing Warlock.

You can get CoH 2 for 25% off now from Green Man. I picked it up yesterday.

I finally got around to picking up Magicka for 2.49 on the weekend sale. Figured it can't get much cheaper then that.

Is there anyone here that doesn't already have this?

Such a shame that Stardock has spent years working on a fundamentally terrible game.

Guys, you don't want Fallen Enchantress. You want Legendary Heroes, the best of the three games. It was just released so don't hold your breath, but I recommend waiting and humping in there instead.

Gonna start a bit early this year. I have a copy of Brink - The Complete Pack to give away to the first non-grinder that wants it

Sounds like Stardock is continuing the policy of : "Pay us more money and we'll fix the last broken game we sold you". Luckily I have Patience :old:.

Nah, not that bad, it's just that Legendary Heroes is that much better.
