Minnesota Board Game Night at Johnvanjim's - Friday, February 28th, 6:30 PM until late)

I'm planning on attending this week, for the first time. I'll bring the new Star Wars LCG if anyone wants to try it out.

Great, final reminder that this is going on tonight at 6:30 onward. Pop on over and have some fun!

I'll be there by 7 or so at the latest. Stack me up some of those card boxes, I'll take $20 off your hands so I can start obsessively organizing the fiddly bits in my game collection.

Special thanks to Dan for teaching us the joys of eating skyscrapers with King of Tokyo (as a side note, here's the latest trailer for that Kaiju film that Del Toro is making, Pacific Rim) and a great many thanks to Patrick for bringing cookies!

Sentinels of the Multiverse hit the table, and the mega-team had no major problems taking down Grand Warlod Voss on the Wagner Mars Base (no spaceships or self destruct hit the table, thankfully!). King of Tokyo was a blast, and extra special thanks for playing some catacombs with me to test ou the new board.

Hope to see you all next month!

Don't know if you all saw this, but: Gamers with Jobs on Board Game Geek.

Also - I can finally come this month!

Did you all see this:

Yay, more players! As for King of Tokyo, I haven't watched that episode of Tabletop yet, but I'm super glad that Dan introduced it to the group last time. Great fun and fast game!

I most likely won't be making it this time around.

On call this weekend (boo :(). Next month hopefully.

For anyone that can make it, tonight's the night! 6:30, swing on by. For those that can't make it, no worries, there's always next month!

The wife is going out, the boy has a soccer game, and the girl has a broken foot. Three strikes against me this evening.

Annnnnnd, bump! Friday = Game night, if you're interested in coming, lemme know and swing on over. We have beer on tap and AC! *grins*

I'll be there.

Edit: I will not be there, I am traveling to Williston, ND for my job tomorrow, returning late Friday.(think Northwest corner of ND, almost Montana/Canada)

They keep scheduling me on call for the last weekend . I'm gonna have to change that.

Baby number 2 is having rough rough nights. Hopefully when she gets a bit older and is sleeping through the night I can head down from St. Cloud to meet everyone....one day.

I think we also need to have another day at Fall Out Shelter again soon for Mech Warrior explody goodness!

Seconded, that was some great fun!

*poke poke* *Nudge Nudge* Friday Y'all..

Hoping to make it!

I'm going to try and make it down. I have a super stressful week coming up and a night of board games would be amazing. What is on the agenda for Friday?

I'll be there.

I generally don't have a preset agenda (as it varies based on the number of people who arrive, when they arrive and what they're interested in playing) but if someone was interested in something specific, I can set it up.

Just a reminder that this is going on tonight and you're welcome to swing by, have a drink, a slice or two and play some games! If you need info, drop me a PM or email at [email protected]. See ya after 6:30!

Great night of games, even though I only got to play the one game of Cuthroat Caverns. It was totally worth the time in the car to come down and get some gaming in. Thanks again for an excellent evening Johnvanjim.

Thanks for coming down Yoreel, glad that you had some fun (backstabber!) and hope to see ya play again in the future! That's frigging dedication to fun, driving that far for a single session. If you're swinging down again, make sure to give me a heads-up so we can get a game that you're specifically interested in playing, on the table.

Sorry I missed it - its been like 4 months or something now. Not scheduled for call on the last weekend of the month for awhile so should be able to make the next one.

It was a good time Friday night, as long as I pretend Cutthroat Caverns never existed in the first place.

Sorry I didn't show up after saying I would. Next time for sure, and I should hopefully have Dungeon Dice by then to play!

*chuckles* Was it the randomness, the backstabbing? Seemed like the entire evening the-gods-of-randomness were choosing odd directions for you to head..
