Talked about it in the Avengers thread. Joss Whedon back on tv can't be a bad thing. ;)
I'm all for it! And I had no idea there was an Avengers thread. Is it active?

I don't know, sounds shaky.
Wow...Interesting turn of phrase
So pretty entertaining season of Survivor. I will say I'm pretty pleased with the winner; I think it was well deserved. The teaser for next season has me thinking...
"Survivor: Blood vs Water", the only thing that makes sense to me would be
10 pairs of family members split into two tribes. Blood is thicker than water and all...

It was a good season, but one I don't think I'll ever re-watch, if I did that. I thought pre and post merge were total opposites in terms of enjoyment, and the winner was very apparent after the merge.
Nice educated guess on 27. For the first time ever, I've been reading the speculation on Sucks so I know the basics for next season. I won't tease info, but it's probably the most excited I've been for a season since HvV.
totally forgot about Longmire.
totally forgot about Longmire.
Same.
Also, why is The Killing on there? Are they starting over with an entirely new cast and story? If not, screw'em.
I guess you guys haven't seen the commercials? The Killing is returning with same cast, new case.
Yeeeeah I don't watch commercials ever.
Hmmm, I don't care about any of the summer premieres besides Whose Line is it Anyway?
But man, I am so stoked for that!

Nope, I don't watch Mad Men or Walking Dead, so don't see many AMC commercials.
Also this. I haven't watched anything on AMC since season 2 of The Killing ended.
Shahi is now a regular on PoI. I like her in that role, but I thought the balance of characters they already had with the show worked well. We got about 70% of Finch/John, alternating police for 10%, and 10% story setup. Seems like they'd go buddy cop or the split the time between the leads. Let's not forget that one of our antagonists is now in a more important position.
I hate when I write my thoughts down, but then come to a point of indifference. What do I care, they've done a great job with the show so far.
I want like 50% Shahi. Because her character's awesome. And because Sarah Shahi.
I just realized the last episode ever of the Office is tomorrow. I actually have watched episodes in every season including this one.
It has been 8 years since season 1.
Great sitcom. Up there with Seinfeld, Friends, and Mork and Mindy.
So... I thought The Killing was canceled, but there it is...
Looking forward to the final season of Dexter.
And of course more Falling Skies and Franklin & Bash.
And I'll probably still watch True Blood... cause...
What's Renewed, What's Canceled, and What's Still In Between? (2013 Edition)
New Girl is still silently one of the shows I have the most pure fun watching. Good for a laugh pretty much every episode. I love that Schmidt looks at Cece and Elizabeth in the finale and doesn't know which one he wants. I feel like in most other shows on TV that situation turns into a really crass and mean joke.
It's rare that I'm willing to accept a show with characters this ridiculous.
I started out pretty tepid on Arrow, but right now it's halfway through the finale, and I can't stop grinning. It's amazing what an earthquake machine and Captain Jack screaming "THEY DESERVE TO DIE!" can do for a show. It's become my favorite dumb show of the season.
The Amy's Bakery episode of Kitchen Nightmares is up on Hulu. It's just as bad as I've heard it was. They don't give the tips to their wait staff.
Yeah, I had to watch the train wreck. They both need therapy badly.
Many people who tune into Top Hooker are going to be very disappointed.
Anyone want to talk about HIMYM? They've revealed the direction for next season, and I'm not exactly loving the idea.

So what the hell is it? Fishing?
Elementary was all kinds of awesome tonight. Can someone tell me what Watson "diagnosed" in the end, though? Was it a medical condition that I just missed or the "emotional" condition?
The big twist mid-way through was one of the most surprising TV events I can remember having. I was so invested in the cover story, it hadn't even crossed my mind.

I'm ambivalent about it. This season was hit-or-miss, and the next one likely will be more of the same, regardless of the gimmick. I wish the show runners would write the entire season. Their scripts are always good -- as this season's finale shows.
Really like the actor they chose for the mother.

Emotional. She cares for Sherlock partly because they spent time together, and they're also different sides of the same coin. Watson bargained that Moriarty perpetuating another OD would get her to show. It's a fine end, but fictionally I don't think Moriarty would take such a big risk without the appropriate precautions. The Moriarty twist was nice, and a great use of Natalie Dormer's talent.
Just finally got caught up with Hannibal, and I'm pretty blown away by how good it is. Looking forward to more Gillian Anderson, too.
My wife and I think she is dead, and probably killed by Hannibal. Do people agree? Was it too obvious to mention?
I just set the DVR to record Motive. Looks like a run of the mill homicide procedural, but I really liked Louis Ferreira in SGU, so I will check this out. His partner is Kristin Lehman, who played the political consultant, Gwen, in The Killing. It premieres Wednesday.
