Console/Handheld Video Games Deals.

Pages

In an attempt to keep the so called "Deals" away from "The Real Deals", I decided to make a console deals thread. If it's a failure then I BLAME YOU!

In all seriousness, I thought it would be a good idea to have a a separate thread specifically for non Steam/GMG games. Since those two outlets have so many sales, the OG deals thread can fill up really quick. And if you are like me you find yourself skimming through too many post looking for console deals.

I expect this thread to move slow and not take too much attention away from the original thread. And if no one wants it I BLAME YOU!

Go here with your PC deals.

IBToverlordlockdown.

I think this thread would stand a better chance if you took "superior" out of the title. I do think a separate thread makes sense.

I'll cross-post this from the 3DS thread:

Art of Balance TOUCH! – $4.99 (down from $6.99)

Fun! Fun! Minigolf TOUCH! – $3.49 (down from $4.99)

Tokyo Crash Mobs – $4.99 (down from $5.99)

Fluidity: Spin Cycle- $7.99 (down from $10.99)

Pushmo – $4.99 (down from $6.99)

Dillon’s Rolling Western – $6.99 (down from $9.99)

3D Classics: Kirby’s Adventure – $4.99 (down from $6.99)

Marvel Pinball 3D – $3.99 (down from $7.99)

Pushmo and Fluidity: Spin Cycle are highly recommended. I'll probably grab a couple more of those. Code of Princess also had a permanent price drop from $40 to $30.

Superior was a joke, but I never intended on leaving it.

I also think the word "thread" in a thread title is unnecessary.

This is the console thread, not handheld thread!

Spoiler:

Hi, blind_evil!

Handheld deals thread incoming.

Toys R Us, buy two for $70.

http://www.toysrus.com/search/index....

I'm only interested in one game on that list. If anyone else is only interested in one, wanna go halfsies?

Hrm, Tomb Raider and Dead Space 3 for $35 each? How long does this deal last? I think I know where my spare change is going on Friday.

I think it's until Sunday, but I'm not sure. Tomb Raider is definitely worth it.

For anyone waiting on Catherine on PS3, the latest PSN update drops the price permanently to $20. This is the same as the previous price across multiple Atlus sales but it gives me hope that the next Atlus sale might see a drop to $10!

Actually, sir Tentative, I may take you up on that "halfsies" deal. Money is tight, and I'm not as interested in Dead Space 3 at the moment. I am, however, interested in Tomb Raider.

Which game were you planning on?

I was looking to get Injustice.

K, this thread split is stupid and annoying. Can we kill this one please?

I don't mind the two thread, since PC gamers rarely point out which platform deals are for, and I have gotten my hopes up unnecessarily before:(

I also don't mind just having one thread.

I am pretty easy here.

It was ironic.

I will PayPal you $35 + tax + shipping...and then +shipping again since it has to come to PA.

Seeing as I'm not much of a PC Gamer and my machine isn't much for playing PC games, I'd much rather have a thread like this where I can keep up with deals for platforms I use.

What console?

Playstation 3.

Some used games on sale at BB.

Man, can't bring myself to buy Halo 4 even at $30. How much has changed since Halo 3....

I'm a big fan of the Halo basic gameplay, and over the last few years have grown to love it while also having time to begin nurturing a scornful attitude towards my once beloved Call of Duty.

I think the general consensus was that Halo 4 did a lot of the single player story bits better than any previous entry in the series, but the moment to moment stuff is pretty similar, honestly, and if that doesn't sound exciting to you it probably isn't worth your money. The multiplayer iterates a bit on the Halo: Reach formula (a few good new modes, new custom loadouts). Halo: Reach itself had a pretty different feel from Halo 3 due to the addition of armor abilities, so making the jump from Halo 3 to Halo 4 could be somewhat significant.

There was a pretty lengthy discussion of Halo 4 in one of the Conference Call episodes (the one with the spoiler section with David Ellis) that you can listen to if you want someone to talk you out of a purchase.

Except now I might have to go to two threads for my deals because I'm not an either/or gamer.

You'll live :p.

"Add to Favorites"

I have all the threads you mentioned plus 20 or more others favorited.

And this thread is going to be so slow moving that you will only check it once a week, if that. I'm also not an either or gamer.

Are you guys using the "add to favorites" link on the first post? Makes it very easy to keep track of which threads have new posts.
