Dexter is creepy!

I took it the same as Gumbie.

I came here to say the same thing. Deb set up Hannah for sure because she feels threatened, jealous or both. I think she let the pill dissolve with water in her mouth and then spit it back into the water. Thats why when Dex looked at the bottle it has the clear crystals at the bottom.

My wife and I kept saying how stupid Dex is for going after that guy as soon as he got out. He knows LaGuarta is onto him and simply getting Daniels off his back when get her off his.

I am suprised no comments have been posted about the finale.

Black orchid on Dexter’s door step and Harrison conveniently put to sleep in the back office where a giant party is taking place... I suspect the black orchid is meant to be a symbol of loss.

I really wonder how Dexter is going to deal with the fact that LaGuarta has been shot by Deb's gun. Deb even called dispatch, who will have a record of her call, to find out LaGuarta's location... on top of that multiple characters commented on Dexter and LaGuarta being absent from the party , and Deb left to find him. These people are detectives and not idiots, someone must suspect. Not to mention the loose end of a judge who signed a warrant and would know that LaGuarta was looking into Dexter's & Deb's phone GPS locations, where she conveniently ends up dead soon after. Oh and video footage of the gas station that LaGuarta would be smart enough to have made a back up of as insurance.

I suspect Angel will come out of retirment and fill LaGuarta's shoes.

As the onion stated huge plot holes that in real life would be very hard to cover up and this show is starting to annoy the heck out of me, but I am excited for next season.

*edit* to add in one more thought.

It was a good finale but yeah, lots of big holes there. Who knows, maybe they are meant to be caught next season. I dont think there is any way around then killing LaGuerta. Deb messed up that chance in multiple ways. The last line of the show was "this may be the beginning of the end".

They aren't holes until there has been some sort of resolution to the story. It's one big cliffhanger, and no one knows how it's all going to play out just yet. I assume there is just too much of a mess for them to be able to get away with it. We'll see what happens.

Teaser for season 8

Final season? Noooooo...

Final season? Yayyyyy!

Seriously, I like Dexter, but I feel like it's run its course.

Yeah, the Trinity season I think was the high point. It is still good, but time to end it while it is still good.

Started watching Dexter a few days ago. Already through season 1 and halfway through 2.

I can't get enough! I need to watch it every minute of my waking hours! I do nothign else with my spare time. I'm consumed.

Yep. Last season I cared about was season 2.

Come to think of it, that I've kept watching must be a sad indictment of how directionless my life is.

I skipped from Season 2 (the last on available on Netflix, many moons ago) to the most recent, and was shocked by how little had changed, and how much of the "Previously" segment was stuff I'd seen.

Yep. It needs to be put down before it becomes worse than it already is.

Last season was actually really good. The one before that...well it was terrible. I love Dexter but I have said that this should be the last season and I'm glad it is. Better to go out in good spirits.

Eight seasons is more than enough for most shows, I just hope that they make this last one a good one.

Killing Deb would go a long way towards a ending on a high note.

Get ready folks it the beginning of the end this Sunday!

What do you think will happen to Dexter at the finale?

Minor spoiler stuff

Spoiler:

Did he dig a hole he can't get out of? Has Deb had enough of his crap? Will Dex and Deb have to run and hide because she shot Leguerta? Will he finally be able to get rid of the dark passenger and ride off with unicorns?

Damn it! I will not pay $20/month for one show. I need to find where I can see this show in Canada.
ARGH! Dexter Withdrawl!

Well, now we know what the new season will be about. I have a feeling that the nuro doctor took an interest in Dexter not to rat him out but to be some sort of a mother figure for him. Dexter was extra stupid this episode. His emotions are getting the best of him.

No kidding. Is it because Deb has been his stabilizing force? He was practically obsessed with getting to her the whole episode.

Yeah, emotional Dexter was scary. Careless. A crappy father.

Don't like.

I'm wondering if this doctor knew Harry before, and helped him with his code?

I think she's looking for her own 'trophy'. Mark my words! She'll get her's before episode 5.

Yes, He was a bad dad. I knew something was going to happen when he left the car. Happily it wasn't anything bad.

Prediction #2. Deb sleeps with the hitman.

I have no doubt that she either helped Dexter's dad come up with the code or when asked straight up gave him a code he could teach Dexter. Probably as an experiment. She's obviously been keeping track and now has decided to take a more hands on approach.

IMO, it was a botched introduction. All of the sudden, this "Serial Killer Whisperer" who is world renowned and lived in Miami but has never been connected to the town, shows up with Dexter's childhood drawings? Talk about jamming a character into a storyline.

But even that was overshadowed by Deb's rapid descent into PI flooziedom.

At the end of the episode I seriously considered cancelling my Showtime subscription. If this is the train of thought the showrunners have in mind for a series wrap up, I'll wait for Breaking Bad and save the money.

Yes, I was very disappointed.

But... Homeland... Shameless...

I prefer my Danes less manic and my Macy less buffoonish.

House of Lies, on the other hand. The wrath of (Marty) Kaan. Hilarious.

My brain keeps screaming that she's the serial killer. Otherwise why play her so creepily.

My thoughts exactly!!! Hubby and I were watching the other day and kept thinking "no way she's not the one orchestrating it all!!!"

Bonnonon... You're making my head hurt!

I agree. They are really pushing the majority of the audience to think she is the killer... so she must not be the killer...

Ha. I keep flip flopping on my opinion. I suspect something out of left field will surprise us all... Deb is killing to prove her love to Dexter.... or it is Masuka.
