Normally I'd give this week's Game of the Week to the Galactic Civilizations II expansion, but I know we have a strong cadre of gamers who seethe and boil when I give GOTW to an expansion, so I'm going to keep their heads from exploding just this one time. Considering that I've already seen the game on the shelves in a combo pack with GalCivII I'm not sure whether the game belongs in this week's list or last week's or what, so it's a decision with which I can be comfortable.
Besides, I'm kind of a Ratchet & Clank geek, and if I hadn't happily ditched my PSP months ago I'd definitely be picking up Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters. I'm not sure how well it's going to play with the PSP's one amputated analog stick, but I'd be willing to lay down my thirty or forty bones to find out. So, Ratchet gets my nod for Game of the Week.
P.S. I look forward to the hate mail for not even considering Monster Kingdom.
On DVD this week, a movie I've been dying to see, The Departed. There's probably other stuff too, find it here.

There's a difference between a decent game of the week and blinding rage that clouds your otherwise sound judgment.
I'm not sure exactly what you mean but I've decided to interpret it as: I <3 Elysium

This conversation skipped all the seriousness and went straight for gay right out of the gates. Nice.

Ew. Monster Kingdom looks by all accounts mediocre at best.
I take serious issue with this! It is completely out of line. I mean, you make the assumption that a JRPG _can_ be good.
Blasphemy!
The rest of it's right on, though.

Indeed. Ratchet & Clank FTW!
Now I have to get a PSP, if only for Ratchet. Rats.

I feel certain Edwin will wait until juuuuuust after they fall off to save you. Assuming, of course, you have a fairly generous definition for the word "save."
Wii hater.
Sorry, Edwin, but you're on your own this time.

Is this the part where Certis starts stripping and crying again?
Words... are a big deal.

Evidently, I'm receiving this as a belated bday present. Hooray!
I tell you though, the day they ship a R&C title for the PS3... that's the day I say "DAMN, PS3s are still too expensive!"
Here's hoping. I got my dollar bills at the ready.
