Your genetics are bad, and you should feel bad!

Spoiler:

It's spelled different but every time I hear coriander, I think of Mr. Koreander.

Threads are colliding! I just posted a link to a Neverending Story Kindle cover.

Huh, neat, alternate necktie knots:

The Eldredge Knot:

The Larch.

The.

Larch.

I seriously need to learn the Eldredge, even if the spelling is giving me an aneurysm.

It's probably named after whoever created it, as Eldredge is a valid surname (if a bit uncommon).

Commander Coriander Salamander and his single-hander bellylander.

Hmm. Think I'm going to come out to my family as poly when I go back to England for a visit later this year.

I foresee much gasping and popping of monocles. All brits wear monocles, right?

They used to have an Eldritch knot, but it broke the space-time continuum and let the Great Old Ones through.

Ordered something online, and the site's FedEx tracking is stating today as the estimated delivery date, while FedEx.com is stating tomorrow.

I don't know who to believe!

Well of course. What else would you scowl with disapproval through?

Capital!

Quite.

I say!

To industry!

I've been using the cape knot exclusively (in the few times I'm required to wear a suit). I've also seen it described as the "Merovingian" (from the Matrix Reloaded)

This is how I learnt to tie it:

So I happened across Robot Combat League which is apparently 1/2 ton Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots. Even better, George Lucas's daughter is a contestant. Even better, she's supposedly a pro-MMA fighter.

Oh, it's like an inside-out Windsor!

I don't care what anyone says, I love that first Mortal Kombat movie.

I watched some Firefly again this weekend. Zac Effron plays young Simon Tam. Huh.

I feel like I've lost my mojo, like no one likes me today. : /

Thought I had some great pictures of a red kite today, but nope, left the camera on manual exposure and it's just all white. Never making that mistake again.

My ex-girlfriend is joining my team at work. A little odd, but I hope it won't be awkward.

It's an internal promotion/department move for her.

Did either of you cheat on each other?

Nope.
